To answer you very simply, a healthy normal guy who had his share of "intimate" moments with women. He doesn't come across as a man whore nor does he come across as a person shying away from intimacy or from women. Taking into account that this was 20th century America I would presume that with some of them he had sex, may be not all of the women listed. Not because of any other reason, just that with some it might have died in the exploratory stages. Just like with any other guy.
