Sundays are generally the day that Sir likes to have me cook all day. Breakfast, a light lunch, make a cheese and cracker plate for a snack, dinner, and then dessert.

So you imagine this little sub's chagrin when he turned to her this morning and said "I want red velvet cupcakes today." Granted, Vino has said several times that she wants to step her baking game up but these cupcakes are a beast to make and take a lot of elbow grease.

Not that I'm complaining *cautiously looks over shoulder* LOL!

I procrastinated enough on making the grocery list before I was told to "do it now." *sigh*

Can't I just sit here and code instead?

But I guess getting the shopping done early will insure that I can get dinner started in a timely fashion and maybe even have dessert ready ahead of time. I have plenty of time to bang my head against the wall once I get back.

I figured, this place was as good as any to share my life with fellow sisters in submission as well as though who may be interested in seeing what the life of a sub can be like. I hope as much pleasure is found in reading my words as I find in writing them.

Today was slow as Sir was not in the mood to attend a gathering of like minded lifestylers at a club his friend had invited us to. I was glad of it, though now I kind of wish we had ventured out.

The thought of seeing the city lights sparkling against wet pavement, tight PVC sticking to anticipating skin, his hand on the small of my back leading me through a throng of smoke and seekers. But there is time. We have plans for a coming weekend that are sure to not disappoint.

Spring has come and with it, that internal battle I have between my desire to submit and my desire to be free. Alas, I am a woman of simple complexity; my head screams at me that I need to fly, while my body and my heart clings to the man who dominates me and has claimed me as his own indefinitely.

There wasn't much to do today. We ordered in and the refuse from the night's meal has been discarded. I managed to get some much needed coding practice in before finally nearly throwing my laptop out of the window due to trying to figure out character arrays in C++. *grumble*

Sir had company, with whom I was not enchanted, but I offered my presence to the best of my capability considering the bloke's stifling energy. Tomorrow will be spent doing laundry, cleaning, and preparing for the coming work week.

Tonight, I know that I will be wanted and I anticipate that time when we will turn down the sheets. I await my collar with impatience and long to wear it, kneeling at his feet, my head resting on his thigh.

I enjoy my quiet times with God and as of late, I'm trying to make an effort to spend more time with him. Especially right now...it's 2:18 A.M. and I cannot sleep! It's frustrating when you have people in your complex that aren't considerate of others at this time of night.

my dad sent me a valentines card. i totally forgot about it even with that wack commercial for the valentines day movie i refuse to subject my eyes to. maybe it's not too late to send him the Puppy Bowl dvd, he loves the stuff.

when i was in the early stages of elementary school, we made folders from construction paper and staples with our names crayoned on them. everyone would get those cheapie packs of little perforated valentines cards with generic central casting cartoon animals and big hearts on them, sign and put one in each kids folder. i loved getting a big mess of then all at once.

*note: crayoned is a word? spell check isn't slapping me on the hand with the red line of death*

that was way back in the day in that era when kids would run, play and wear a candy necklace from morning to night then eat it at the end of that day. *sigh*

one year, caught up in the nostalgia of grade school v-days i gave the kiddie valentines day cards out to my co-workers. i was the immediate victim of silent judgement. they couldn't wait for me to go to the ladies room so they could talk about me. haha!

i hope all of y'all have a happy valentines even if it means laying on the couch all day in a drunken stupor, dorito crumbs hanging on your lip, dozing off to celebrity rehab re-runs.

Now, I know a lot of black women get a lot of flack because our standards are deemed too high according to some men, but that doesn't mean we have to go out with anyone. I've dated guys that weren't on my level in my eyes b/c I didn't want to be accused of not giving "good guys" a chance. Those rlps did not work out for several reasons, but one thing I've learned is that I will not let anyone make me feel bad about it! I will not date or marry someone just so that others can feel okay about what I do b/c I will be the one to suffer if things go wrong.

One thing I'll say about some men is that they definitely have confidence about themselves. They can be broke, not asethetically pleasing to the eye, without any worthwhile assets and still step to a dime. And guess what? Some may hit the jackpot! However, I will not waste my time with someone who doesn't have it going on in my book. He doesn't have to be rich or fine, but I need to be attracted to him, he needs to be a hard worker, ambitious, God-fearing and loving, family oriented and doing better than me in all aspects.

I can't waste my time on guys that aren't doing much, not physically attractive, not ambitious, have several children and so on. I can't do it. So come correct or not at all.

One of my goals while I'm here is to find a good church home. Not a church that asthetically pleasing but something of substance. Where I can go and be spiritually fed, engage in good fellowship with members and grow as a Christian woman.

The church was medium-sized and the members were pleasant. The Word was good as well. I will have to travel a bit to attend church due to my location, but I don't mind at all. Overall, my day was great.

Hopefully, someone here has suggestions on churches in this area.

Does anyone know how to save them or store them so when the computer crashes i don't have to go and buy all of the songs i already bought? this is really stupid and i am ticked:angry: If now does anyone know of a place I can download songs for really cheap i don't want to be breaking the law.

My mother, her sister, and a few of their females cousins have one thing in common- weakness for men. My mother have this bum laying up in here like he's the 8th world wonder, her sister man constantly disrespects her, and their cousins are having man trouble- one of which locks her out her own apt when he's mad at her. However, these raggety men are still in the picture. Why can't they rid themselves of these ogres, and pull up their self-esteem? Really, is penis that good?

You take this story right here 13 Year Old Given 90 Lashes and 2 months in Jail For Using Cell Phone In School and you gasp at the idea of such a harsh punishment, then you look at the crime rates in these countries with such harsh punishments and its almost non existent. I just wonder if we are to soft on our stance, now dont get me wrong i feel alot of laws are geared to keep young black men locked up and im sensitive to that subject but at the same time i often wonder why people choose the wrong path when the right path is before them as well.

Just some thoughts....I often wonder if America should go hard on all crimes, to prevent crime..

Halle Berry at the 2010 Golden Globe - - - - - - - -- - VAVAVOOM

So I finally settled in last night with my drink (a screw driver), and watched the Golden Globe. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Halle Berry's outfit. At 43, she looks stunning, and flawless. Of course I had to immediately go to my laptop and find out the designer of that fabulous dress she was sporting.

Halle's onyx silk bias gown with lace inserts is by Franco Kauffman. She bedazzled her outfit with jewelry by Kimberly McDonald. Her shoes by the one and only Christian Louboutin. Can we say GORGEOUS. Her make up was soft and dewy, and I am so glad she is back to sporting the short cut. Oh Halle, please be my bestie )))))
