169CULTURE by Domineque Michelle – May 7, 2013

Over the past decade natural hair has grown in popularity among the under-30 black female crowd. Many of us have decided to step away from relaxers and bone-straight hair in favor of quenched and defined curls. Although, it’s “just hair”, it can’t be ignored that we’re taking part of a pivotal moment in history. But how do these changes affect our professional lives? We are still occasionally stopped in our tracks and faced with other people’s ignorance and cruelty, which is why it’s an unspoken rule in many black homes not to show up to job interviews or work with big hair, braids and even locs in some cases.

In May 2012 I worked as a dental assistant for two Russian dentists. I arrived to work a bit early on this particular day and instead of the compact bun that I usually wore, I donned an afro ponytail because I hadn’t gotten the chance to put my hair up and my first patient wasn’t set to arrive for another 30 minutes. Almost immediately after I removed my second arm from my jacket I was met with laughter, followed by “You look like one of those…what do you call them? The dolls with the hair…a troll doll baby!”. Not 10 minutes after that occurred, I was pulled aside by the less willing to joke and more stern dentist who told me “you have to wear your hair organized”. This took place in front of other employees and was quite embarrassing. That would not be the first time I had contemplated making it my last day. Instead, humiliated, I twisted my puff and put my hair in the bun as I had intended to before I was tag teamed by the Black hair police.

My opinion on natural hair in the workplace is this; If your hair gets in the way of you completing your work, then it should be clipped up and away from the face so that you can work efficiently. I also practice what I call “natural hair etiquette” so that if my hair physically gets in the way of someone, let’s say at a movie theatre or train, then I’d gladly move it out of the way. But it seems widely accepted that you must appear ‘harmless’ or unpolitical in order to be successful or maintain employment, so much so that I’ve had women come up and tell me of all the successes I could have if I straightened my hair, and how much nicer I’d look. But why is natural hair — the hair that grows out of my head — seen as political, ‘edgy’ or dangerous in the first place. I have always worn my hair straightened or in a compact bun while searching for work and I’ve even removed braids to look for work as well. But is it right? Am I letting the negative ideals of others determine my behavior? And is changing my hairstyle a fair price to pay for success?
I saw this quote and found it odd (but not surprising) that a white lady owns a hoodoo shop?

Why not a black lady? Since Hoodoo is traditionally linked with the American south and black folks.

How is it that white folks manage to even get a monopoly on our occult practices?

Do you guys know why this is happening? For all you occultist how is it in your city?
Even in Atlanta the the black mecca few of the occult shops are owned by white people. I find it annoying because they seem bothered that I am in there but they've got books about our Magic and African gods statues posted up :disdain:
Dave Hodges
Activist Post

Many were roundly criticized for daring to say that the Cyprus thefts could visit our shores. If Treasury Secretary Jack Lew gets his way, Cyprus will look like a walk in the park compared to what’s coming because Cyprus was a beta test for the massive theft of private wealth which is on the horizon.

In fact, I would say to my fellow countrymen who don’t think the government would ever perpetrate a fraud against the American people in which the government would oversee the outright theft of personal assets of American citizens, you might want to jog your memory and look about to a period of time going back four to five years in this country.

Short Term Memory Loss

I, too, was roundly criticized three months ago when I said the Cyprus scenario is coming here. I was told there would be a revolution if this happened and the government would be to afraid to try such a thing. I marvel at people who hold to such naive beliefs. Listening to these people is like listening to a country song played backwards. You know the wife does not leave, the truck still runs and the guy stops drinking. Maybe it is all the fluoride in the water that is causing such widespread ignorance and apathy.

First of all, our government is not the enemy. This is not the government we are dealing with. We are battling organized crime in the form of corporations like Goldman Sachs who have hijacked our government. They are lining up for the last great garage sale before they collapse the economy and roll out martial law. There are forces lining up to steal everything that you and I own. It has already begun but this country is so dumbed down, we do not see that it has already started.

The Greatest Wealth Transfer In History

I am still haunted by the image of former head of the Goldman Sachs crime syndicate and former Treasury Secretary, Hank Paulson, telling a closed session of Congress that if they did not grant Wall Street “bailouts” there will be martial law in the streets as a result of the economy collapsing. Ask yourself, if almost five years later and three bailouts later, are Americans better off having sacrificed the bailout money in lieu of maintaining roads, improving schools, while running the national debt through the ceiling and destroying the financial heritage of our children?

History has spoken and our economy is spark away from a total meltdown. Well, at least our dumbed-down neighbors are right about one thing: there will be a revolution, but it will not be on our terms. It will take the form of a purge and a boot stomping on the collective neck of America. What the hell do all of you think the Boston martial law event was about? They wanted to see how all of you would respond to total tyranny.

Besides having a few cameras pointed at them by a few Bostonians, DHS completely shut down and intimidated a major American city. Remember, that is why our Stasi friends over at DHS have bought 2.2 billion rounds of ammunition and 2700 armored personnel carriers.

And while America is recovering from its collective short-term memory issues, let me ask the readers if anyone else remembers MERS and the millions of homes they have stolen through mortgage fraud and nobody, despite being caught in city after city, has gone to jail? Do you remember hearing the stories where Mr. and Mrs. America would pay cash for their home and clearly own the title only to have the bank show up with a fraudulent title and seize the home? Has ANYONE gone to jail for these crimes?

Who could ever forget, Jon “the Don” Corzine and his former company, MF Global? MF Global, a shell corporation beholden to Goldman Sachs, was led to the slaughter by the former Goldman Sachs executive and former New Jersey Governor and senator, Jon Corzine. Corzine’s criminal actions have directly victimized 150,000 Americans by stealing an estimated $900 million dollars of his clients’ money from their supposedly secure private account. There is also another $600 million missing dollars from MF Global. Meanwhile, Corzine avoids sharing a prison cell with Bernie Madoff by purchasing a “get-out-of-jail free card” through the sponsorship of a $35,000 per plate fundraiser for that great Wall Street puppet and Criminal-In-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama.

What are the government watch dogs doing to protect our money from this new generation of robber barons? The short answer is that the feds are partners with Goldman Sachs in this monumental violation of the public trust. In fact, Goldman Sachs and friends have taken over the government.

Take Gary Gensler, a former Goldman Sachs executive partner, who like so many other Goldman Sachs' gangsters, have been placed into key governmental oversight positions in order to protect the Goldman Sachs co-conspirators from prosecution, as they continue their reign of terror upon the global economy. Gary “the gangster” Gensler is the former

. In his present position, Gensler had the authority to go after Corzine for his role in the MF Global debacle and order restitution. However, Gensler has decided to protect a fellow member of the Goldman Sachs Mafia by not looking into the massive fraud and theft by Corzine and his cronies. Your tax dollars, paying the salary of federal officials who are overseeing the most massive illegal private transfer of wealth in the history of the planet, are payable to Goldman Sachs and their criminal enterprise partners on Wall Street.

You may not be one of the 150,000 Goldman Sachs/MF Global victims. However, this Robin Hood-in-reverse-scenario, in which the criminal super rich are plundering what’s left of the middle class, will soon be visited upon your bank account, your home mortgages and your pensions. These criminal banksters are in the process of stealing it all, and what are you going to do about it? Our nation of entrenched sheeple will do nothing as most have not even heard about it. And the fun is just beginning.
The Latest In Stealing From the American People

The Treasury Department once again is taking federal retirement programs to buy the government more time to increase the nation’s debt ceiling. And why does the government need to raise the debt ceiling? The debt ceiling must be raised for two reasons, (1) in order to fund the banker-inspired wars of occupation and, (2) to continue to fund the largest wealth transfer in history: the bailouts. And just who is behind this nonsense? The very close friends of Goldman Sachs over at Citigroup and they have their henchman in charge of the continuing rape of America by Wall Street, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew. Let me be clear, and Lew you can sue me if this not true, that it is a fact that Obama appointed one of the criminals who had a major hand in bringing down the economy to run the country’s finances.

While at Citigroup, Lew oversaw 113 tax evading accounts in Cayman Island banks. Based upon Lew’s resume, hedge funds for Citigroup where he lost almost 600 million dollars, one can only assume that is why Obama has appointed Lew to finish the job which will leave you and I with nothing.

Oh, I know there would be a revolution if the government ever dared take our retirements. At least the citizens of Greece rioted because they understand what happened. Our sheeple still hide behind the security blanket belief that “they would never do that,” just like they did in Boston and just like investors tolerated theft by MF Global on behalf of JP Morgan.
Jack’s Very Lewd Background

Lew, from Citigroup, as I stated, was an overseer of hedge funds. You know, the hedge funds originating from the actual criminals that collapsed the economy in 2008. This is who Obama selected to run the economy. So, why does this bear repeating?

Last Friday, Lew announced that the government was taking the unprecedented action of avoiding governmental default through this summer by including tapping into and suspending investments into the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund and halting the daily reinvestment of the government securities (G) fund, the most stable offering in the Thrift Savings Plan's portfolio.

We have long heard that bankers who have hijacked the government would commence stealing our private wealth through the pension funds, and this is exactly what the chief bankster, Jack Lew, is implementing. The next step will be to seize bank accounts, like they did in Cyprus, and then step up the MERS mortgage fraud as the Federal Reserve continues to purchase $40 billion dollars in Mortgage Backed Securities every month.

The G Fund is invested in interest-bearing Treasury securities (i.e. bonds) that make up the public debt. The Civil Service Retirement Fund finances benefit payments under the Civil Service Retirement System and the basic retirement annuity of the Federal Employees’ Retirement System, and those investments are made up of securities also considered part of the public debt. In other words, for you people who have cushy federal government jobs, Lew is telling you that the government controls your retirement. They own it and they own you. And you people who thought serving the New World Order was a such a good idea, are you reconsidering your loyalties now?

Military and law enforcement personnel take note on how you will be treated for your subjugation of the American people, followed by the total obliteration of the Constitution.

The government says they are just borrowing the money. How much of the bailout money has been paid back by the banks? Is MERS still in existence? Does Corzine occupy a cell next to Bernie "Madoff with all of your money"?

Iceland Had a Better Idea

Iceland had the right idea when they threw bankers like Gensler, Corzine and Lew in prison for their crimes against their fellow citizens. Iceland struggled for five years and is back stronger than ever. We should have told Wall Street to go to hell in 2008. We should have already arrested the CEOs of the six megabanks which created MERS.

The aforementioned bankers should already be in prison. However, people in Iceland have a better awareness of how the world works.

America knows how American Idol works.

Martial Law Will Commence When the Banksters Are Done Stealing

There are two parallel paths which are predictive as to when martial law will commence in the United States. First, the right political climate must exist; and this administration obviously feels that the use of false flags is the most efficient method of achieving the proper pretext for martial law. Also, martial law will commence when the banksters are done looting America. When they have seized your bank accounts, your social security funds, your home mortgages, your pensions and your 401K’s, then, and only then, will they roll out martial law.

Conclusion

I know there are some readers who are two steps ahead of me on where this is going and what we should do. The resistance needs to start right now. America needs to totally withdraw from their financial and corporate entities in strategies which I will discuss in future articles.
T-ara N4 are going forward with their promotions in America this week.

Agency Core Contents Media announced that the girls' schedule in the States has been moved up. They'll be heading to the United States on the 23rd, and will arrive in Los Angeles on the 25th just ahead of Chris Brown's concert in Las Vegas the following day.

T-ara N4 have been invited as special guest performers at the American singer's event, where they'll be working with his choreography team Flii Stylz. They're also slated to perform at hip hop star Wiz Khalifa's concert on the 24th. Wiz Khalifa himself will be collaborating with T-ara N4 on stage as well.

Ahead of the concerts, T-ara N4 commented, "As it's the first reveal of our song 'Countryside Life' in America, we're very nervous and excited, and we still can't believe it's happening."

Yeah, you better be nervous.

No one uses these girls. South Korea pays them dust due to that bully scandal and them picking their new single which has basic ass lyrics will not help.

And in all honesty i feel that this plan was very last minute and a plan to pick out gullible blacks as we all know which is who they are trying to cater to as these might suggest.

In the past celebs were icons. We had marilyn, tom cruise,mj etc who were symbols of americana and grandeur. Now it seems that due to youtube, social media and reality tv anyone can be famous and now fame is more of the 15 minute variety. I think after this group of celebrities ( beyonce, angelina etc) celebs will no longer become international icons. Do you agree that social media and internet sites has killed the iconic status of celebrities?

As of right now Chadwick Bozeman is slated to play T'Challa?

My pick would be Nicole Beharie! She's versatile, up and coming, pretty but so much that she would take away from the role, and most importantly a great actress. Also, she and Chadwick have great chemistry as seen in the movie '42'
Nicole:

With the whole Sergio fiasco I got to thinking.

I have been to numerous socials and functions or potlucks. White people always bring stuff like cheese crackers. But anytime someone brings fried chicken wings they are the FIRST thing that is gone. I remember someone white actually brought fried chicken wings from Publix. Them white people on the sly tore up that chicken so fast.

I also feel Chick Fil A is like the "okay" place for white people since they sell "boneless" chicken.

My former roomate told me her old white roomate would pay her to go pick up Popeyes chicken because she was too embarrassed to go there :bulgy-eyes:

When are white people going to admit they love fried chicken and not just Chick Fil A

If Lauren London has baggage, she makes it a top priority to keep it light. The VIBE Vixen cover girl discusses her new big-screen venture Baggage Claim, shying away from fame on purpose and her current relationship status

LAUREN LONDON IS MILES beyond Down South coming-of-age flick ATL, both literally and figuratively. The 28-year-old actress phones in from the Left Coast, somewhere in the Hills where cell service is worst than kitten heels. She sounds calm but prepared. Sugary sweet even. But the mom of 4-year-old son Cameron with rapper Lil Wayne makes no mistake about her ability to take it to a place called There when it comes to he said, she said chatter.
Despite hanging against the Hollywood ropes for a round (or three) while pregnant, L-Boogie maintained consistent work, managing to appear in quite a few silver screen features (I Love You, Beth Cooper, Next Day Air, Good Hair) and TV slots (90210, Entourage). Still, her off-screen journey is where most media attention locks in, splashing headlines of false romantic match-ups and speculations about her relationship with Weezy across the ‘net. “I’m still a human and things do hurt, but you can’t let people’s opinions define you because we’re all battling something,” she says of brushing up rumors, adding, “Me? Yeah, I’m definitely a fighter.”

While appealing to both African American-specific and mainstream audiences like a Top 40 pop record, Lauren’s personal life–the intimate details, at least–remains off-limits. Behind the curtain? A semi-vet who is admittedly in the business but not of it. “My life, my son’s life, my soul and who I am as a person means much more to me than the limelight,” she explains. “[Acting] is what I chose to do, not who I am.” No matter how much blogs try to peel back specifics, Lauren remains tight-lipped. “If they want to see more of me, go rent your movies or watch the show.”
Now, officially taking lead role reigns in BET’s fan-favorite sitcom The Game as flirty former child star Keira Whitaker, the Rachel Zoe-loving prima donna’s back on Hollywood geo-maps and rubbing elbows with Tinseltown’s brown-faced elite (see: Gabrielle Union, Loretta Devine, Regina King, Mekhi Phifer). Edit in: London’s forthcoming character as Paula Patton’s little sis and bride-to-be in David E. Talbert’s Baggage Claim, due later this year. “I’m engaged to Terrence J, which is awesome because he’s really like my brother in real life, so I love him.”
Any chance LL’s walking down the aisle anytime soon? “I’m not dating at all. I don’t know if I’ll have the time. But I’m very fiery and sassy, so I need someone to keep up with that.”
But there’s more to Lauren’s bark and bite. And apparently, we don’t know the half. — Niki McGloster

VIBE Vixen: Tell me about your beauty regimen? What are some of your must-haves?
Lauren London: I have to have MAC spiked [eyebrow pencil] and bronzer.

I know you’re hiding some beauty secrets, too.
[Laughs] As long as your eyebrows are clean and you have a clean face, you’re good to go.

Any style trends you’re anxious about or that you want to die this summer?
I’m really over everyone wearing Jordan’s, even though I wear Jordans [Laughs]. But I’ve been wearing Jordans since ’92. I really want everyone to put it away.

You don’t believe the girls rocking J’s are real Jordan heads?
No. I just feel like there are certain girls that never have worn them before.

Now, the photo shoot was very 70s inspired. How does that style era influence you today?
It influences everything. I love anything inspired by the 70s, from the music to the clothes. Capricorn has this joke that I dress like Stevie Nicks.
What celebrity or influences out there are killing the style trends across the board?
I love anything Cameron Diaz. Gwen Stefani, Victoria Beckham. I like Halle’s style. Charlize, she’s effortless. But I dress more like Drew Barrymore. I want Rachel Zoe’s closet
Who doesn’t? Who are your top 3 favorite designers?
Alexander McQueen, Givenchy and McCartney.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree suffered a torn Achilles tendon during organized team activities Tuesday and will soon undergo what could be season-ending surgery, a person informed of the injury told USA TODAY Sports.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the 49ers haven't commented on the injury, which used to be an automatic season-ender but has since become one that can sometimes be rehabbed in a matter of months — as Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Da'Quan Bowers did last year.

Both players tore the tendon in the spring and returned to the field after starting the year on the physically unable to perform list.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas can empathize with Crabtree. Thomas tore his Achilles' tendon while training in February 2011, just after his rookie season.

Thomas had surgery and was cleared to practice about seven months later, after missing all of Denver's offseason workouts and training camp. He didn't play until October 2011 (in part because of a broken finger suffered after returning to practice), but said it took until last summer to feel fully recovered.

"He's a great player and I'm sure he's going to work hard to get back and listen to all the people that he's got to listen to," Thomas said Wednesday. "But it's difficult at first, because it took a while for me to be able to do anything. You know, I had to wear a boot for six to eight weeks, and I couldn't do anything but upper body stuff. Once I got it off, I still had to take time, because it's a serious injury, and you don't want to take it too fast."

Crabtree, 25, is coming off a breakout season in which he had career-highs in receptions (85), yards (1,105) and touchdowns (nine), following three seasons in which he struggled to live up to the expectations placed upon him when the Niners selected him 10th overall in 2009.

The injury to Crabtree comes at an unfortunate point in his career and for the 49ers, though the team has been working to build depth on offense. Perhaps the Niners would consider bringing back Randy Moss, who hasn't yet retired and tweeted in March he "wished we could've finished the job!!"

In March, the Niners picked up receiver Anquan Boldin in a trade with the Ravens, sending Baltimore third- and fourth-round draft picks.

Crabtree did all he could to help the Niners win a title. He had a huge postseason – 20 catches for 285 yards and three touchdowns, with one of those touchdowns coming in the Super Bowl. But the 49ers needed one more score from him to beat the Baltimore Ravens as time was running out and were unable to get it.

Crabtree, who had a 24-yard catch to move the ball into Ravens territory, was the intended receiver on a quick rollout pass on third-and-goal and a fade on fourth-and-goal that sailed over his head as he was defended by Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith. Niners coach Jim Harbaugh wanted a pass-interference call on both plays but was denied by the officials.

HIT THE FLOOR follows the lives and loves of the Los Angeles Devil Girls, the premiere dance team in all of professional basketball. At its heart is Ahsha, a sheltered young woman who joins the team against the wishes of her mother Sloane, who knows this treacherous, tempting world all too well having been a Devil Girl herself. Olivia is the shrewd squad manager, Jelena is the star dancer who won't let anyone else share the spotlight and Pete Davenport is the former All-Star who's come back to coach his old team.

In series, Ahsha takes her tentative first steps as a Los Angeles Devil Girl, including orientation and first practices. Meanwhile Jelena seethes over Ahsha being let on the team and targets not just her but also Olivia for going against her to make it happen. Raquel has her hands full with her ex while Kyle makes the most of her new gig, seducing the Hollywood elite who fill the front row.

Ahsha starts to taste celebrity and experience the high life in Hollywood. Temptations become harder to resist. As a result, her relationship with German starts becoming strained. As Ahsha is drawn more and more to Derek, she finds herself torn between her old life and her exciting new one.

Jelena also experiences romantic trials with Terrence as their relationship is put to the test by how ambitious Jelena is, and how far she's willing to go to maintain her position at the top. Meanwhile, how far Olivia went to succeed back in the day gets dredged up by the return of fellow original Devil Girl and former best friend Sloane. Their complicated past haunts them both and threatens to unearth in a big way in the present.

All the while, the mystery surrounding the disappearance of missing dancer Mia continues to grow, threatening to blow the roof off the entire L.A. Devils organization.

The Raiders signed veteran safety Charles Woodson for a maximum of $4.3 million. Did they pay too much?

The move will be widely popular with Raiders fans, many of who staked out the team's facility on Tuesday to greet Woodson on his visit and urge him to sign with the team.

They got their wish a few hours after he arrived when the team announced his signing.

Woodson, the fourth overall pick in the 1998 draft by Oakland, returns to a vastly different franchise than the one he left following his eighth season with the team in 2005. Owner Al Davis died in October 2011, and the team is now run by Davis' son, Mark. Kicker Sebastian Janikowski is the only player left from Woodson's eight years in Oakland that included three straight AFC West titles and a trip to the Super Bowl following the 2002 season.
The Raiders haven't had a winning season or a playoff berth since, adding to the fans' desire to bring back Woodson and a connection to past successes.

The 36-year-old was released by the Green Bay Packers in a salary-cutting move Feb. 15, with two years remaining on his contract. He had said he wanted to join a contender and visited with San Francisco and Denver but ended up signing with a rebuilding Raiders team coming off a 4-12 season.

Woodson, the 1997 Heisman Trophy winner at Michigan, is an accomplished cornerback and safety who will bring veteran leadership to Oakland's secondary. The Raiders have a void at free safety after letting Michael Huff go in the offseason and also would like Woodson to tutor first-round cornerback
Ezra Shaw/Getty ImagesCharles Woodson spent his first eight NFL seasons with the Raiders after being selected with the fourth overall pick in 1998.

Woodson, an eight-time Pro Bowler and 2009 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, missed nine games during the regular season for Green Bay last year because of a broken right collarbone.
He spent seven seasons with the Packers, helping them win the Super Bowl following the 2010 season. He has 55 career interceptions, 17 sacks, 24 forced fumbles and 11 interception returns for touchdowns in 206 career games.

Woodson is very familiar with Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie, who worked in the front office in Green Bay for all but one of his years with the Packers.

Late in his first season with the Raiders, McKenzie talked about the difficult situation he inherited with the Raiders compared to the one his former boss Ted Thompson got in Green Bay.

"His rookie year he was able to get Charles Woodson. I would have liked to have done that," McKenzie said in November.

McKenzie got his man but it remains to be seen how much Woodson has left.

Pharell (Interviewer): What's the best advise you feel you have gotten.

Usher: Man, let go, enjoy, have fun man. I mean what do you do when you have considerably done enough? Some people might say a grammy is enough, some people would say traveling around the world one-time is enough, some may say a hit record on an album released is enough. I think at this point having evolved the way that I have, having experienced everything, Just enjoy it and be free, you know be artistic and be creative and explore.

Pharrell: What is the secret to your success. What are you doing that makes us care so much about you.

Usher: Its that feeling man, Its that irreplaceable feeling of real music and entertainment. I am very fortunate to have people around to help build what it is, but to be able to perform a record and to be able to sell it through a performance, dance vocally and the passion of what it is and that's what I feel keeps people connected to who I am as an artist..The real experiences that people can feel, that's an irreplaceable feeling.

Pharrell: would you say as great of a singer you are and as great as a dancer you are; tap dance etc, is that your real talent, like the magnetism that you have

Usher: it is a magnetic force that pulls people in, that comes from the pure source of love for music

Pharrel: Is that what we keep showing up for? We keep showing up to watch?

Usher: No, No, No Its the voice. I really do think its my voice. My voice is what makes me unique and different from each and every person. You know dancing is great, but the greatest dance could be recreated, but you can't recreate a voice

K. Michelle decided to bat for the other team at one point, however, that came to an end as soon as she realized that dealing with women was just as much drama as dealing with men. Chicks are too damn emotional!
This week, during an interview with Power 105.1FM’s Breakfast Club Morning Show, K. was uncensored as she dished on everything from being courted by Chad Ochocinco, to leaving Love & Hip Hop Atlanta for the New York edition. She also chatted about her fight with RaSheeda’s hubby Kirk who revealed on Twitter that she likes women. Even though he was trying to throw shade, that info was something K. Michelle says that she never tried to hide. She told The Breakfast Club:

I have dipped out. I thought I was gay for three months. [What brought you back?] I realized what you men go through. The b—h jumped on my car. I had a new car and she jumped on my car, scratched it up with her shoe and it was a wrap. She wanted to be an actress, but she was always sitting on the couch. I was actually taking care of stuff and paying bills. I was like, “Oh no I’m not used to this. I’m not gay no more.
I like how women look. I like certain things about a woman but at the end of the day, I realized that I’m not dealing with all that bulls–t y’all go through. [...] I do the pretty women. Nothing against the women that look like men, [but] you might as well get a man. I like chocolate, big booty, pretty skin, that’s what I like. I don’t let men eat me out. I never have been like, “I want this.”

K. Michelle also revealed that she used to have a ritual that she would do before sex:

I would put salt around the bed because someone told me it keeps the sex demons out and your sex could be better. So, I would go and put salt around the bed before sex. Then you clean the house with ammonia before the sun come up.

Kanye West has been adamant from the start that his baby with Kim Kardashian — due this July — would be kept out of the spotlight, but that won’t stop pregnant reality star from cashing in on her child.

“Kanye has told Kim that he absolutely does not want their newborn’s baby pictures to be sold,” a pal reveals in the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now. “But Kim has figured out a way around it.”

Her plan? “She arranges for the paparazzi to take an exclusive shot and pay her for it, then the paps sell the pictures to the media,” a pal reveals in this week’s Life & Style. “The beauty of that is she can always pretend she didn’t know anything about it!”

Throughout Kim’s pregnancy, Kanye, 35, has tried to shield his unborn child from the Kardashian media circus. “He thinks it makes them both look bad,” shares the source. “It encourages unwanted attention. Kanye just wants to release a shot of their kid on Tumblr or Instagram, similar to what his buddy Jay-Z did with Blue Ivy.”

“Even though the baby photos are technically not available for sale, Kim continued to try to find a way to profit off the birth,” notes a second insider. “Kanye found out, and he was pissed. He has made it very clear that Kim is to stop all negotiations immediately.”

In addition to not selling the pregnancy announcement to the highest bidder — Kanye declared the happy news himself at a Dec. 30 concert — Life & Style previously reported that Kanye specifically asked Kim not to seek out a cooperative “Demi Moore–style” pregnancy shoot.

For more inside Kim and Kanye’s relationship and baby plans, pick up this week’s issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now.

After reading this article it sound's plausible

Hey Lainey,

please tell us what's going on with Rob and Kristen. Nothing makes sense for us. We have that theory that they're both moving back to Rob's house because her's on sale since January. And since there was construction work at Rob's house since last summer, which is now finished, we thought that was maybe the reason why they bought Kristen's house in the first place and are now selling it, so they can move back to Rob's house. Does that sound crazy? Maybe you're in contact with some people close to them who talk to you or maybe even their reps but we're miserable because of them. We don't want them to hurt and to go through that media sh-t storm again.
I hope, you can help us and tell us more soon.

Thank you,
Anna

“Nothing makes sense for us.” Just an idea of what my inbox has looked like the last few days. So much anxiety. A lot of grief. A lot of grasping. At anything, any explanation, so as to avoid making sense: the simple explanation is that, well, how likely is it that a relationship that starts at 19 will last forever? The chances aren’t great, even for those who aren’t famous. You add fame to that equation and it reduces the odds exponentially.

As for the complicated explanation...

Well, it depends whose side you’re on.

PEOPLE broke the story on Saturday that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson had broken up... “for now”, leaving the door open for a reconciliation. US WEEKLY soon followed, also with a report that the two had split, also perhaps just temporarily. Then everyone else jumped on it. Not even Gossip Cop, normally so quick to publish a publicist’s contradiction, could manage a denial.

Pattinson was photographed driving a pick-up full of suitcases and clothes in trash bags away from Stewart’s home on Sunday. Click here to see the photos. He had two dogs with him, leading to further speculation that Robsten did indeed break, and that he ended up with custody of their pets.

PEOPLE seems to have taken a pro-Pattinson position. In a story posted yesterday, sources tell the magazine that he was observed to be “in a really good mood” on Monday, hanging out with friends at Teddy’s (how old school), flirting with a brunette, although they were quick to point out that he never touched her, but subtly suggested that he appeared relieved to be free of Stewart’s “terrible mood”, particularly in the days preceding the split. The Pattinson strategy then is to portray him as a man free now from his dark cloud, appealing to those who’ve always hated the fact that he was with Stewart and stayed with her after her indiscretion.

US Weekly on the other hand seems to somewhere between neutral and pro-Stewart. They reported yesterday that Stewart spent all of Monday at Taylor Swift’s, a detail that could only have come from her team, as photographers were conveniently around to shoot a smiling Stewart riding around in a friend’s car, with the follow-up confirmation as to where she was heading posted by US on its website the next day, well after PEOPLE had gone to print. Photographers also took pictures of Stewart out for dinner that night, the same night Pattinson was supposedly enjoying himself at Teddy’s, and she too was described to be “in a good mood”. It’s a good strategy for Stewart: she’s fine, she’s not crying herself to sleep, she’s not weak and clingy and begging for him to take her back.

But whereas US Weekly initially concurred with PEOPLE on the possibility of the two getting together, their cover article now portends a more permanent split:

“The tempestuous couple have split before — “they’re like seventh-graders,” says a source — but, this time, the breakup is sticking. Adding to the finality: They have said goodbye to their Edward and Bella roles after four films. “Usually they would have a Twilight film to bring them back together,” says the pal. Outside of the Twilight bubble, it seems they don’t stand a chance. “They both have projects that will take them away from each other for months,” adds the pal. “If he can’t trust her, it’s impossible.”

Here’s where US Weekly has more detail over PEOPLE. According to US Weekly, Pattinson cannot get over what happened last summer. And he’s been punishing Stewart ever since, even though she’s done her best to convince him that it will never happen again. US details Stewart’s behaviour over the last few months -- she would stay close to his friends when he was filming in Australia, making sure he knew that she was with people he trusted, “endlessly auditioning for the role of Good Girlfriend”. Sources tell US Weekly that he, on the other hand, would deliberately not take her calls, make her sweat, play with her mind.

Game on then, right? Game on. And it’s about time. Team Stewart’s handling of the situation immediately after she was caught with Rupert Sanders last year was piss poor. And that whimpering apology only set her up to be weak, at everyone’s mercy. This time she’s taking a stronger approach, not so apologetic, more Jolie than Aniston. Good. Because it’s not like he’s not working it either. His advantage, obviously, is that he’s pretty and he’s managed to keep his own sh-t locked down.

As both are playing the media to their respective advantages, it then becomes what version of the situation they want to share. Each faction has a different perspective.

Those close to Pattinson tell me that there are some sh-tty influences in her life and that she has poor judgment when it comes to her family and friends. She’s had some family pressures. And she was a child star. Though she may not have f-cked up as spectacularly as some of her child star peers, it doesn’t change the fact that she’s been working steadily for years. Some say she’s “exhausted”, “tapped out”, and is just ready to kick it and have some fun for a while. Live the kind “college” life that she missed while she was on set so much. Lindsay Lohan said the same thing. Her college years have eaten up almost an entire decade. Stewart is much less destructive but Team Pattinson claims that he’s been frustrated with her lack of motivation. Her talent is what he has always loved most, what he’s always been attracted to, and he sees her as the best of her generation, and supposedly considers it a turnoff that she doesn’t seem to be using it. That’s his side.

Her side maintains that she always gets the worst of it between them, even though he isn’t the sensitive, gentle boy he’s been sold to be. He too has friends who can’t be trusted, who prefer to spend more time on the old Hollywood Ebola Paris Hilton circuit. So they’re saying he parties too much, and his people claim that she parties too much. There’s also the question of commitment. When Pattinson was filming Cosmopolis in Toronto, there were always stories that he was stepping out on Stewart. Not with Caitlin Cronenberg but with local randoms. Since so much noise surrounds Stewart and Pattinson, those who kept hearing this business weren’t entirely convinced. And besides, no one wanted to f-ck around with a Canadian powerhouse’s production. The encounters were always the same though -- he allegedly would insist that he and Stewart had an open relationship, so it was rather rich when he was portrayed as a victim when Stewart was found to be cheating with Rupert Sanders. The things that made Stewart unhappy, that may have led to her infidelity, were never addressed. And now that they've had some distance from the scandal, they've come up again and couldn't be ignored.

Drama.

As for whether or not this is it, or if it'll be a clean cut, it's more like a long breakup that started a long time ago. Kinda like Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. That might be the worst part of it for Twi-Hards now. That Robsten has become Jelena.

It went back like five generations and was used by multiple people in the same generation (two brothers naming their son Adolf). The name stopped being used after WWII though. I get that their is a stigma with the name but at the same time why end a tradition just because someone who wasn't even related to you did something bad with the same name???
