1. I am not a woman who looks for love online...this was just some dude from another site that would give me technical advice from time to time.

2. We moved offsite to an IM service...chatted everyday. Had some things in common.

3. We exchanged G-numbers (Google Voice) and began to talk almost daily. I'd look forward to hearing from him in the evenings and we would voice chat online all day. Yes he has a job and so do I, we just have a lot of privacy since we sometimes work from home. Once we had a spat and he thought I had hung up on him. He called me back 5 times. I didn't respond until much later.

4. For some reason I felt compelled to Google the name and city he gave me.

5. Circumstancial evidence indicated that he didn't attend one of the schools he said he did and that he was a couple years younger than he said he was and out of my comfort zone as there is a 6 year age difference between he and I. I started to feel like I was chatting with my little brother once I found out. He confessed that he does ad a couple of years on for online security purposes but the name/graduation year I found online wasn't him.

6. I told him that not only did he lie TO ME but he lied on his mammy's twat as well. It wasn't like he lied once in the beginning, but since he was 4 years younger I'd make lil funnies about the 80s and he would roll with it.

7. He said that when I confronted him by phone he started stressing out and that he threw up at work because he was so sick from the thought of never speaking to him again. He called me 5 times that day. I didn't answer.

8. For some reason, I gave him a second chance, since it ain't like he was my man and I kinda just didn't give a shit in general. I mentioned something about visiting family in his city for the holidays and he quickly said "I'ma be 12 hours away visiting family in another state." He don't even like his relatives nor do they really like him much from what he says.

9. I let him know that I was just mentioning my visit since we kinda flirted with the idea of meeting. Our conversations run the gamut from local news to sex. But no phone sex per se...just flirting. Nothing major.

10. I guess that he thought I was coming to town to stay with HIM and he deflected by saying he wouldn't be in town that week. Whatever...I told him that it would be best if we charge this shit to the game 3 months in. He called me 5 times in 20 minutes.

11. I'm rather glad I did it...we talked everyday like real-life lovers...though we had never met. I should have known he was mad young (early 20s) because he was WAY too comfortable with the IM-ing and online voice chats. People my age don't get into that mess too tough before meeting.

I have a couple of pics of him and he has a couple of pics of me. He is WAY more worried about ME putting him on blast than I am of him. And he should be since I know more of his people in his city. But I told him that I wouldn't be doing that. Truth be told if he didn't have my name I probably would to get my payback for him misleading me on the age/school thing and who knows what else.

He apologized for lying many times...yes I am aware that there is some indications of emotional instability...but hopefully he has a wife and kids or something to lose.

Trust me, I got caught slipping I know that. No need to reiterate that. I'm just venting.

I met my fiancée on myspace. He was on the opposite coast 6 months out of the year and the other 6 he spent in our city. We talked for four months, phone sex, scandalous pics and all before we met. He didn't get the real goods for another couple of months. Although its not the safest way of meeting a man, the internet does foster some cases of real love. I'd be careful as hell though, and do bg checks right away on people to make sure I wasn't getting jived.

Truth be told, I probably woulda shagged the shit outta him if we met maybe...I can be a cougarette right? Its only 6 years and he well past legal, I just prefer men between 32-42.

Oh well...I think he was hurt but you never know...he did lie for 3 months.

Even added 10 days onto his birthday.

He is REALLY paranoid about people finding out his identity...he even asked me if I referred to him as a Mexican on another message board he frequents. He looks like a Rican. Come to find out somebody else Googled his user name and found his pic on a deleted (but cached) myspace page. I also found the same page easily. So I told him that he done got caught slipping again and he needed to switch his user names up from one site to the next.

I also tried to mentor him a bit on some academic/career options so its not like I think he is an asshole...I just can't tolerate liars in my life so he gotta go.

He don't like it but he will live.

He shouldn't have lied.
