AFTER I LEFT THE SHOW, NOV.22, 2004.....THE NEXT DAY, I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO GO SEE HER @ KENDALL REGIONAL HOSPITAL,
AFTER I LEFT THE SHOW, NOV.22, 2004.....THE NEXT DAY, I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO GO SEE HER @ KENDALL REGIONAL HOSPITAL, WHERE SHE HAD BEEN STAYING BEFORE I LEFT. SHE LOOKED SO PEACEFUL, I DIDN'T WANNA WAKE HER FROM HER DEEP SLUMBER.......SHE LOOKED LIKE AN ANGEL. APPARENTLY FROM ALL THE MEDICATION AND SEDATION, SHE LOOKED A BIT SWOLLEN, AND A LITTLE DIFFERENT. ASIDE FROM THE TUBES RUNNING DOWN HER MOUTH FOR PROPER BREATHING, AND ALL THE MACHINES SURRONDING HER, INCLUDING THE LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM,....IN MY EYES...SHE LOOKED PERFECT. A FEW MINUTES HAD GONE BY.....AND SUDDENLY SHE AWAKENED. SEEING ME FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER I HAD LEFT FOR A WHOLE MONTH, BROUGHT GREAT JOY TO HEART. SHE IMMEDIATELY LOOKED AT ME AND SMILED, WHICH WERE HER WORDS FOR, " I MISSED YOU"...... AS SHE LOOKS AT ME, SHE LETS OUT A TEAR.......WHICH OF COURSE BREAKS MY HEART.....BECAUSE I KNOW HOW MUCH SHE WANTS TO SURVIVE THIS BATTLE THATS TAKEN OVER HER LIFE.....ANYWAYS, WE JUS GAZED AT EACH OTHER FOR A COUPLE MINUTES, AND I JUS BEGAN TO RAMBLE ABOUT MY JOURNEY IN THE SHOW,...SHE LOOKED REALLY HAPPY,....I DIDNT WANT TO DISSAPOINT HER AND TELL HER I LEFT THE SHOW......THATS WHEN I NOTICED,... TEARS KEPT FALLIN DOWN FACE,... A JOY WHICH MEANT AN ANXIOUSNESS FOR WANTING TO LIVE AND FINALLY SEEING HER DAUGHTER IN THE MIDST OF ACCOMPLISHING HER LIFE LONG DREAM.........AS DAYS WENT BY.....THE SITUATION GOT WORST......DOCTORS KEPT PRESSURING US TO TURN OFF THE LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM........CALL ME SELFISH AND COLD-HEARTED.....BUT I COULDN'T DO IT...I COULDN'T LET GO OF HER......NOT YET.......I KNO HOW MUCH SHE WAS HURTING UNDERNEATH IT ALL......BUT WHAT WAS I SUPPOSE TO DO WITHOUT HER IN MY LIFE!..........IT WAS A NIGHTMARE THAT I NEEDED TO WAKE UP FROM IMMEDIATELY......I KEPT CRYING AND PLEADING TO THE DOCTORS TO SAVE HER LIFE....THAT I WOULD GIVE UP ANYTHING IN MY BODY JUST TO SAVE HER......I MEANT IT WITH ALL MY HEART......THE DOCTORS JUST LOOKED AT ME AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO......THE CANCER HAD BECOME METASIS.....WHICH MEANS IT HAD SPREAD ALL OVER HER BODY AND IT WAS TOO LATE TO CONTINUE TO TRY OTHER OPTIONS.....I BECAME MORE DESPERATE AND ANXIOUS TO DO SOMETHING......BUT IN REALITY, ALL I HAD LEFT WAS A PRAYER AND A MIRACLE AT HAND. I WAS FACED TO THE REALITY OF NOT HAVING HER AROUND IN MY LIFE ANYMORE. I REMEMBER THE LAST DAY I SAW HER.... I DECIDED TO SING A FAVORITE SONG OF HERS CALLED " OPEN UP MY HEART" BY YOLANDA ADAMS....SHE CONSTANTLY BUGGED ME EVERY OTHER DAY TO SING THAT SONG FOR HER.......SO THAT DAY, I DECIDED TO FINALLY SERENATE HER ONE LAST TIME.....ONE LAST TIME TO SEE HER SMILE,.... ONE LAST TIME TO SEE HER CRY...ONE LAST TIME TO SAY GOODBYE. AND I DID.
LATER THAT WEEK, WE RECIEVED A PHONE CALL EARLY IN THE MORNING LIKE AROUND FIVE A.M......MY BROTHER KNOCKED ON MY DOOR WAKING ME UP......ABOUT TO TELL ME SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT AWAITED FOR. THEY TOLD HIM MOM HAD DIED AT 4:30 A.M....HER HEART JUST STOPPED BEATING............. .................... ...SHE WAS GONE.

I JUST WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO WAS CONCERNED ABOUT ME AND THE HEALTH OF MY MOTHER...FOR THE PRAYERS AND BEST WISHES... FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, THANK YOU...IT REALLY MEANS ALOT TO ME.........
She has a great voice, but she didn't fit in looks wise with the group and it didn't help that her dancing wasn't that great. The clip below gives me chills though
What about the girl that kind of looked like Jasmine Guy. She was with Andrea when they were brought from the first season but didn't make the group.
Off topic but what happened to Julius from Making the Band 4. I so wanted him to be in the group. I guess it was a good thing that he messed up his leg because Day26 kind of went wrong.
What happened to the short chubby chocolate one (I hate to describe her like that) who was one of the best singers, but wasn't put in the band for reasons I can't understand?
Jason Williams-LOL this queen gave the girls hell in the 1st season when Diddy sent him to stay in the house with the girls. Looks like from his Myspace he is trying to get his own reality show "Diva Maker"
LaVante-She couldn't get along with the other girls and didn't dance well. She really didn't like Aubrey and Aundrea and clashed with Malika over the phone...lol. She has a good voice though. She loss weight and it looks like on her Myspace she too is attempting a solo career.
Mrs. O how do you know these things. I didn't realize that people kept up with them after they lost. It cool though. It's good to hear about different people on here.
Martii Garcia-she had all the colored fusions in her hair. She made it to the end of the 1st season, but didn't get picked with Malika, Aubrey and Aundrea for the 2nd season.
