She should have dressed up and made an effort.
There is a time and place for everything, and those clothes should have been left at home. She didn't have to do a face full of make up or anything, but she could have made a little bit of an effort.

Makeup enhances but it doesn't make you pretty. His wife isn't pretty either way. In fact, he is too good looking for her. Looks aren't everything but looks wise, he can do better.
Because she's Black?? IT's her being real???, she is confident and her man must love it. Let's be real, she looks a hot mess. Just because someone wears no makeup and dresses like a bum doesn't mean they are confident. Sometimes it can mean they have such low self esteem that they don't put no effort into their appearance.
And doesn't mean her husband loves it, how do you know?

Let me say that i didnt know this was his wife. I thought it was the Asian lady or the other woman he is frequently photographed with....BUT......If I were going to an event honoring my husband, I would dress up a little, even if I am laid back and casual, I would go at least go for a cute blouse, nice jeans and nice shoes. Not because I'm trying to impress anyone, but just out of respect for my husband and the event. I'm sure Ron doesn't care and neither does she, but to me it isn't about caring, it is about dressing appropriately.
Of course perhaps she planned lots of the party herself and was dressed that way to easily handle logistics and behind the scenes stuff, and the pics were taken then, when she was taking a break. No need in throwing pearls before swine and getting super dirty and icky in your good clothes.
But if there were going to be pics of me and him,I'd dress it up a bit. I'm not so concerned about the makeup, however, you can be natural and still look pulled together.
As for the other points made about already having the man and not caring, I guess I'm too vain for that. Sometimes I don't care, but when I leave the house going to an event with him, I'm trying to be cute....not for him, but for me. I'm a tomboy, but I like my dresses and cute shoes and sandals. I like my hair looking neat and I like a little color on my lips.
It is about balance. You can be yourself but properly respond to situations because you love yourself and your husband. There's no need to be an extremist.
