Nailah Franklin-Missing woman in Chicago

One of my colleagues that works at the jail on 26th and california informed me that Reginald Potts is indeed still an inmate in maximum security on 26th st. He is not somewhere downstate as we were previously led to believe....

This ninja still throwing temper tantrums and telling folks they don't know "who he is", still narcissistic and living in la la land or fantasy island...Bet he misses the pent house and bentley...

Word is, even though this crazy ass punk ain't insane , he is crazy and our ANGEL Nailah, didn't stand a chance with this fool...

As long as that bastard remains in max security i am happy. I drive past where Nailah was found everyday and say a quick prayer.

Would it be to much to ask your friend whether he/she could update you on the status of Potts' trial for Nailah's murder??? In a couple of weeks, he'll have his third birthday locked up (hopefully any of his remaining birthdays will be behind bars).

Will definitely see what I can find out...And of course, information will be shared... Sad thing about many cases like this, familiar and unfamiliar is that these criminals are given SOOOO much due process because of their "so called" rights and the due process of law..None of us understand why any of these cases take FOREVER...But, if any small minute details are missed these fools can get off on a technicality...

I went to the Inmate Locator site for Cook County and saw that Potts is still locked up. However, I was not able to open any of the about seven tabs on his name. The old Inmate Locator showed the next court date. As always, I am wondering if there is an update on the status of his trial for Nailah's murder.

Any updates? The cook county inmate search doesn't have a court date listed for him.

Seems like everything is status quo...No new devleopments..
Mr Potts is still being himself by trying to manipulate and get around the system...Again, its called due process of the law and everyone is entitled whether they've broken the law or not...So we have to wait and be patient for JUSTICE.......

Thanks for the update. As the anal cavity knows how to play the system (from his prior experiences of incarceration), it will no doubt be a while. It took over 3 years for Carla Hughes to be convicted of the brutal murder of pregnant Avis Banks outside of Jackson, Mississippi. Carla ended up receiving life in prison and I am hopeful that Reginald Potts' life will end inside of Illinois' Stateville Prison. From time to time please come back with an update.

Still no updates on Potts...People would be suprised at the rights these alleged criminals think that they have..They do all sorts of things to try and get around and slick the system..They even go as far as trying to sue because they say their rights have been violated...I wish the public would go sit in on some these cases where these fools try and represent themselves...The judges and the courts are fully aware of what these bafoons are trying to do...Also think about how much of the taxpayers monies are being wasted...

Its a total travesty to the families and the memories of the victims...

Reginald Potts, who has been in Cook County Jail since December 2007 while awaiting trial in the kidnapping and murder of his ex-girlfriend Nailah Franklin, just got charged with assaulting a Cook County Jail correctional officer. It's his third such offense.
• Background: Potts, who will be eligible for the death penalty if convicted, reportedly refused to get off the jail phone several weeks ago, so jail guards cut the phone's power line. Potts is accused of punching the nearest officer four times before he was subdued.

Wow! He is such an idiot. However, each new charge goes toward assuring a long period of incarceration.
