As for your statements, yes, most dudes are NOT trying to wife up chicks with 4 kids. Dudes aren't trying to save chicks from their previous missteps and poor life choices. However, infedelity in a marriage is outside of the girl's control. But she should have been a bit more careful whom she married.

Listen, there are guys out there who will look past 3 or 4 kids that a woman has from some other guy. However, they are so few and far between that its not even realistic to to count them. The thing is, as a man, when you select a wife, you DON'T want the headache of dealing with a baby daddy, some of the kids saying 'f*ck you, You ain't my daddy' etc. Not to mention keeping the kids on track educationally, morally, etc. Then having some ex R&B loser trying to cause drama in the relationship. People have to understand that life is a cause and effect scenario. The choices that she made in getting married to a dude with a poor sense of responsibility is coming to bite her in the ass.

As, for Usher, I am willing to bet a billion that that dude wished he didn't marry that chick now.

Pressley, the pure fact that I am a MOD on a FEMALE board displays that I have certain knowledge that MANY on this board find informative, on point, and quite damn entertaining. Sire I don't disagree that some men are willing to look pass a woman and her kids, but if you want the woman or hell even the man the kids have to come to. I dont' respect women who choose men over their kids so if a man is with a woman with kids what do you expect. Usher married who he felt was his equal, who he shared his most personal feelings with, hell we all thought he was going to marry Chilli and she is older and has one child, we all thought he was going to marry the babymama of Xzibit who is a model and he didn't. He picked who he wanted.

Why do you think he probabyly regrets it? What gives you that impression because of her past, the recent plastic surgery debacle in Brazil, the age difference and the three kids. From a male perspective what is it

Usher regrets his choice because of her past as well as her mind set. That dude is NOT happy right now and it shows in how he handles his marriage and interaction with his wife. I would bet that as he evaluates his partner, which we all do, he finds that she is not what he was looking for from a long term perspective. His mom's also didn't approve of the situation which also causes additional stress. And as the plastic surgery fiasco displays she is clearly not very grounded. Not to say that he is the most mentally stable dude either but clearly he jumped the gun on marrying that chick.

Also, in ideal situations, marriages are challenging. If 70% of sistas aren't ever getting married(as statistics prove) how much more unlikely is it if a chick with 4 kids by some other man has an opportunity for marriage. Its not impossible, but it is highly improbable especially nowadays. Her best bet would be to marry some dude with as many kids and they can be like some big black brady bunch.

You sound as if you know the behind the scenes...now here is where I have to question you...they have known each other for years and he acknowledged his wife had a past so does he...he is no saint...furthermore I can't blame his mother for not wanting her son to marry a single mother of three, who didn't always hold a steady income and job, with a past...but when he fired her yeah I questioned that too...but I see that as a man taking control of what he wants....he felt that he needed to distance himself from her and make his own decisions or go bigger and he did...but I do agree with his mother's apprehension...the worse decision she made was the Brazilian fiasco because she is not a bad looking woman...she could have gotten all that fixed during the proper time...then to have him running down there scared and panic was just all too much for me

We will just have to sit back and see he may or may not regret it but evidently she is good enough to marry and have kids with....and we will leave it at that
