when lou rawls died, there was an article that some guy wrote that said that he wanted to feel bad but he couldnt because lou rawls was such a pervert and butt.

ifmy memory is correct, he talked about how they were walking through a hotel pool area and a lady was nursing her baby with a blanket and lou rawls told her that he wanted to see her breast. then he cussed her out when she wouldnt show him.

Nina A. Malek Inman was born c.1971. Her home state is Ohio.
Death of Lou Rawls:
Lou Rawls died on January 6, 2006 at the age of 72 from lung cancer and pneumonia complications. He was being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Rawls said he quit smoking 35 years ago.

Lou reported that he received both traditional and alternative medical treatments for the lung cancer which was diagnosed in 2004. He had also been diagnosed with brain cancer.


How Lou and Nina Met:
Lou and Nina met in 2002 when she was a flight attendant for Continental Airlines and he was a passenger on a flight she worked.

Ages at Wedding:
Lou, 68 or 70 depending on birthdate used; Nina, 33.

Wedding Date:
Lou and Nina were married in an impromptu ceremony in Memphis, Tennessee on January 1, 2004. The only people in attendance at their wedding was Lou Rawls' road manager and Nina's best friend. The spontaneous wedding was held at the Peabody Hotel right after midnight, at 12:01 a.m. after Rawls' show at the Liberty Bowl.

Shelby County Mayor A.C. Wharton performed the ceremony. The marriage to Nina was his third marriage, and her second marriage.


Honeymoon:
Lou and Nina's honeymoon was delayed to coincide with a performance Lou was scheduled to perform in Nassau in the Bahamas.


Children:
Lou has four children and four grandchildren.

Daughter, Kendra Smith of Long Beach, California. Mother is Lana Jean Rawls.

Son, Lou Rawls, Jr., of Los Angeles, California. Mother is Lana Jean Rawls.

Daughter, Louanna Rawls of Los Angeles, California. Mother is Lana Jean Rawls.

Son, Aiden Allen Rawls, was born on January 10, 2005 in Akron, Ohio. Mother is Nina Rawls.

Annulment Hearing:
Wanting to end his 2-year marriage to Nina, Lou filed to have an annulment. The couple has been separated since September, 2005.

The hearing was on 12/15/05 but the judge made no ruling at that time. Lou claimed that Nina absconded with assets valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Nina admitted to transferring nearly $350,000 into her account. Nina said she did so to keep the funds from being seized by Luanna Rawls, one of Lou's daughters.Previous Marriages:
Lou married Lana Jean Rawls in 1961. They had two children. Lou and Lana divorced on October 15, 1973.

In 1989, Lou married Ceci. They divorced in 2003, after years of difficulty in their marriage relationship. Ceci claimed that during their marriage, Lou had three mistresses.
At the time, Rawls told the Arizona Republic, "Don't count me out, brother."

The lung cancer was diagnosed in 2004 and the brain cancer the following May, Rawls's estranged wife, Nina, said during a marriage annulment hearing in December in Arizona. The singer lived in Scottsdale.

The divorce was acrimonious, with Rawls's stating in court papers that he was trying to annul his 2-year marriage and protect hundreds of thousands of dollars of assets that he contended his wife "absconded with," reported the Associated Press.
