Whoever it was..they was about to be a BABY MAMA..but took the easy way out and KILLED their own child. At least these other women had their children...married or not.

Alot of women in the industry have abortions. If it wasn't for abortions,there would be ALOT more babymamas/unwed mothers in the industry.

I've been married twice and I don't have any kids. I decided I will never marry again but I do want to have a child. Nowadays there isn't anything wrong with having a child out of wedlock if it's planned. I have a problem with men and women having multiple kids with different partners while not being married. I don't care if you are famous or not.

I have to be brutally honest, About Monica. At first, I didn't like her because I thought she was this girl that was entirely too grown for her age. I thought she had this chip on her shoulder like she was trying to be older than she really was with her music and things. But as time with on, I understood why she acted like that. That girl went through so much at such a early age. She saw something tragic like her boyfriend killing himself. Going through those things makes a child grow up fast than normal. I just think she has a old soul. And I can see she has a strong belief in God and she need that foundation to help her like she says.

But on the topic about babymamas. I think Toya, Tiny and Monica should be taking out of that conversation. All of them are not the typical babymamas. They are not stuggling with dead beat daddies. Two of them are engaged. One of them was a wife.

I see and understand what that poster is talking about. But we have to kinda put our feelings aside and think about what factors cause this issue. As women with high self-esteem and self-worth, we are always wondering why some women put up with that and settle for less when they can have more.

I think it's a self-esteem issue. We can't talk about a issue that people are in because you never know one day, we may be in the same exact situation

But the babymama issue is getting out of hand I agree.

The source of the problem is problems with parents. We need more loving parents to teach little girls and boys how to value their bodies. How to be strong men and women with high self-worth

That post should be targeted towards celebrities like Kim. I think the babymama issue is like a generational curse in our community. It's like for most of us, we come from a long line of single family households with the exception of a few married couples.

Because of that I think some of us think that is a normal lifestyle to want for ourselves. Some of us think to get married and have a stable marriage is something we can't have, so we play house without making a solid commitment.

I always wanted to get married and have a family because I was raised around a daddy and a mom that instilled those family values and showed me what a marriage suppose to be. A partnership. They had me young but my mom wasn't a babymama for long. My dad wifed her up.

But, everyone wasn't so lucky to have that experience like I had in learning things about relationships because some of us wasn't nurtured to love ourselves like we need to be love. Some of us wasn't around teachable environments to mold us to be who we are today. For now on, we should all demand the best. We do not deserve to be babymamas with two or more babydaddies. We deserve the best for ourselves and kids to be raised up in homes with two loving parents. We need that in our lives. So people shouldn't take that as being judgmental. If anything, we gotta look ourselves and say we definitely have problem here. We need to come together as a community to fix it. instead of jumping hot mad at the people who call the situation out like it really is.

I have more respect for all 3 women up there than I do for Kim. Her situation is pathetic to say the least. She need to evaluate her life to understand why she's with that sorry ass man that treat her like nothing like a doormat. It's not Puffy It's the fact she don't feel like she deserve to be a wife. She don't feel like she deserve a good man to treat her right.

And another thing some of us feel like marriage isn't possible when we see so much drama and divorces

I'm not married but I do know this. By looking at my parents, I learned that marriage takes a lot of work. You will have good times and hard times. You suppose to work together in everything.
Some people have unrealistic concepts about marriage and take it as a joke. Many marry for the wrong reasons and not for love.
And some people just don't take the time to work things out and give up. Nothing in life is easy, you always gotta work hard for the things you want. It may not always work out at least you know you did everything you had to do.

Sorry but you are completely wrong about my lack of self esteem. I am an educated, professional woman who made 2 mistakes by marrying one man when I was very young and being married another man for six years who was clearly intimidated by my success. I love myself and I love men but I refuse to adhere to the notion that I NEED to be married in order to have a child. That doesn't mean I'm going to find some random guy and have unprotected sex with him. I want to be in a loving, trusting and healthy relationship with a man for at least 2 years before I even consider having kids with him. My parents have been married for over 40 years and they are STILL together so maybe you should come up with another theory about my lack of self esteem and try again.

This is the problem that I have. Say they do get married, similar to Toya and Wayne did after they had Reginae, people will still go around throwing shade. People will be talking about how their marriage doesn't really mean anything because they were "baby mommas" before they said vows.

That's why I don't mind them marching to their own drummer, because those who have a problem with the way they live now, will STILL have a problem when/if they get married. "It's about time," "She still a 'baby momma' just with a ring." It's not going to stop. A lot of people are going around telling Monica and Tiny to get married subsequent to having babies, put the proof is in the pudding with Toya that they will still have a problem with them and try to invalidate that union.

"commitment" ways much more weight, then a marriage that's bound to fail because the foundation was built on shit to begin with.

I'm only going to comment on Monica.... It irritates me when she constantly bigging up God but continues to live the life she leads. I'm sorry. If you gonna represent him fully, then your life has to reflect that. It's not cute to me. I don't mean to be judgemental but she has to set the example. There's too many young folks out here looking at her. How ironic is it that her stepfather is the Pastor of a church yet she continues to play house? I mean, at least Brandy cared enough to pretend she was married. I think Monica's mentality is what holds her back.
