Dear Mediatakeout.com,
It’s about time I address you asses, and unlike Khia I will do it very intellectually.
First let me give the good people a background overview. On Friday I broke the story that Young Joc’s nudes had leaked, not that anyone really cared. I TASTEFULLY tagged the picture with my site name, as I should be given credit for the pictures as they were sent exclusively to me. I didn’t want to overtag the picture with 100 “mrldavis” tags as I find that to be tacky when you can barely see the Picture and I want to give my readers the best quality I can.
On Monday many sites posted the same pictures I posted with my tags still in tact and cited my website.
Mediatakeout took it upon themselves to Photoshop my site tag off the picture and place their own tag on the picture as if they had been sent the pictures.
On the left is from media take out’s post on the right is mine. (Click Picture to enlarge) You can clearly see the line where they photo shopped mrldavis.com out and that is what the arrow is pointing too. You can also see how the comment bubble on my picture is in tact while media take out tried their best to put the bubble back in tact, after photoshopping my picture but failed to do it correctly.
Now aside from being extremely tacky, what you did is a crime. Not only is it intellectual property theft, look it up. But what you have done is taken a public PUBLISHED document by an LLC, MrLdavis.com, manipulated it, and presented it to the public again as an original document, which in the least is considered fraud, yet another crime.
The fact of the matter is, I don’t really care about the picture, its Young Joc, it’s the fact that you Media take out, a way bigger site than mine saw me as a threat, and could not even credit me. Are you mad because I got them first? That’s what happens when people are cool with you and fuck with you. They send me exclusives, while your founder can’t even go in to v103 without bodyguards. I walk around the city of Atlanta freely, at least for now.
Sites like you, mediatakeout, are what make people question the journalism and ethical and moral value of bloggers. Wait I used the word Journalism too loosely. See I am a degreed scholar who GRADUATED from an accredited university with a media degree. In which news writing and communication law were a few of the classes I took, and passed which gives me that accreditation. As to where media take out you either blatantly lie or steal stories, there is no journalism them.
It just makes me sick that as a small blog, you stole from me. I’m not taking money out your pocket why take money out mine? Then we wonder why bloggers aren’t taken serious, you guys don’t take it serious.
So to sum it up in layman terms those motherfuckers stole my exclusive did not cite me I actually have a degree and yall some fuck ****** and I just addressed y’all bitch asses.
