Yes, it is my opinion and yes, I didn't know until you revealed it. Yes, politicians do have lives which is why every constituent in whatever office you run for should know the behavior you have demonstrated on message boards and whether you respect the law at all. Hats off to you for having a desire to run for public office. People change, it may be benefitical to work to have your record cleared. Can't say you were a victim of the media this time..they were doing their job in reporting what they found to the constituents. Those with a desire for public service should count the costs of their past behaviors and demonstrate a productive positive track record to prove they've had a change of heart to their constitutents. I'm really surprised that you didn't land in jail for the tag issue. If your motive for running for office is truly for the good of the people, I certainly hope you're able to demonstrate a change in your ife to the people instead of some craziness that was broadcast on the news. If I'm not mistaken the councilwoman in Forest Park, GA did something that was crazy as well. Don't know her church affiliation, but she viewed her situation as and attack as well. Makes me really wonder, hum.
