You know public humiliation is the only way to get a mea culpa or restitution from a narcissist since they HAVE to look good at all times. You recovered well, now heal and keep your eyes open so you dont date another.

My past is full of extremely charming, egotistical, narcissist alpha males. Possibly because those traits are in most successful people. Celebs/Athletes/Presidents/CEO's/Pastors...

I was addicted to the drama & challenge of controlling them (which I failed at cus they are irrational sociopaths)

It took a minute for me to appreciate a "good" successful guy. I've never looked back.

Shugah, sounds like you learned the hard way, so sorry to hear that... I am sure it was painful as there seems to be sooo many of them out there. Glad to hear you got past it... so many women seem to get stuck in that rut... maybe you could share your tips, it may help others....You never know.

Who in the hell diagnosed him if he has never sought treatment? Didn't he say he was a liar and had trouble telling the whole truth? So, why would any religious organization believe someone who admits to being a pathological liar his entire life with NO PROFESSIONAL INTERVENTION? What has changed? Is it so, because he said it? I guess diagnosing yourself with some illness is better than being accountable for the truth. The truth is Mr Claude McKnight does have a serious psychological problem with some major character defects for which he requires a medical diagnoses from a medical professional and some serious psychological intervention. Maybe the church is also doing damage control, since claude McKnight has always been identified with them and they hold him in high regard...who knows?

Yes! They ALWAYS seem to get away with this. Still making money. Still finding new women. Still able to do whatever they want even AFTER coming out, being exposed and "apologizing" Seems quite unfair to me!

The women he gets involved with need to google his name to find out about him. I don't see the attraction.

They have not made a record in years.

Any women who gets involved with a sex addict needs to have their head examined. After 11/2009, when the article came out, they have been warned.
