Is anyone watching this show? If so, how do you all feel about the entire production making the move to the West Coast?

The move already cost a key character; Zach Slater to make an exit not wanting to leave NY..

Thoughts?

Nope Susan Lucci is not moving, she said she will commute. The show is just horrible. I am expecting it to be cancelled next year.

I remember watching this show everyday with my mother when I was younger, nowadays I catch an episode every month or so...

I don't know how they'll write his exit..Kendall (in real life) is pregnant, so who knows how that will go..whether she'll return as well. He's my favorite character! I could look at that man all day.
Susan L is staying on, Aidan's gone, Greenlee's returning. The writing has become predictable over the years...yet I hope they don't cancel this soap! It's an old pastime having watched since I was 14 years old..

I had to throw in the towel on AMC when the Erica and Ryan story came about. That is just not okay, it seems too desperate for ratings.

Totally agree with you, the Erica/Ryan story line is a stretch. It's not about the age difference..for me it's the fact that Ryan and her own daughter were in love years ago. What in the world were the writers or powers that be thinking when they dreamed up that couple!

The move is stupid and I see it as the beginning of the end for AMC. I don't see Susan staying with the show much longer either if she doesn't move to the west coast. I read that her and Joe Martin are the last 2 actors remaining from the original cast and Joe is leaving soon too.

If this soap lasts past 2 years after the move I will be surprised.

All My Children is the only soap opera I allow myself.since they can become addicting.and it saddens me that they are leaving New York and moving to Cali and I live here.
I wonder how Zach will leave the show?

You must love me...TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco is hearing ABC just doesn't want to accept the fact that both Thorsten Kaye and Alicia Minshew aren't staying with Pine Valley, 90210.

Never trust a major network. In its press release trumpeting which stars will be making the historic move to L.A. at the end of this year, Alicia Minshew’s name was on the statement as being on “maternity leave.” However, Suds has learned that ABC didn’t want to announce that she and Thorsten Kaye, who, as we previously reported, would not make the move, have quit the show together. A source close to Minshew states, “ABC isn’t taking no for answer! They suggested to Lish to have the baby first, then decide, like she can’t think straight. But Alicia wants out even though she plans on briefly returning to wrap up her storyline. Her husband just bought his third restaurant in New York City, and she doesn’t want to spend her baby’s first year on a plane.” And star on one of the worst shows in the history of television.
