Wallstreet jobs are cutthroat these days now. A lot of thoses people either went into education or healthcare. Education districts need [eople with corp. america backgrounds to help them with saving and making dollars to help educate these kids. and besides on the website according to some of the job title you are not even working in the classroom. After this fallout with corp. america for the past 3 years, the education and healthacer fields are the top 2 hiring fields.

By the way this is not aimed at just black grad alumnis but all minorities.

There is a strong need for Hispanics too. So if you know any hispanics with graduate degrees INTERESTED IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR SCHOOL SYSTEM - schools where there is a population of them (particularly Texas & California) - just pass on the information.

For the one who asked about Houston - let me emphasize they looking to improve the school sytem and structure IN EVERY STATE - here is a Houston Broad Residency Alum (he is white as snow - yet he has found it in his heart to help OUR school system - to help improve it)

the reason I asked about houston because that is where I will be living next yr. but thanks. also on the website there are a number of blacks especially women. and there was one who was a business mgr in houston.

find her contact and contact her and seek advise - i always do that and sometimes they even build into friendship or building some mentor kind of relationship. I am a sucker for NETWORKING, you never know whose help you might need (or vice versa) someday

not everyone of us like to constantly indulge ourselve talking about Who is Fcking Who? and who is wearing what and to where

I also gave a lot of info to one lady in this forum on numerous ways to go to grad school (top schools for that matter) for FREE (I did it 5 yrs ago) - applying for scholarship and key phrases and sentences they seek for in the essay.

Someone helped me when i needed helped 5 yrs ago, so i think its best i pass on the info.

Thanks. I am already on it. Believe me I am a sucker for networking as well. Because it is all in who you know in this world. Once you get in through the door, then you have the chance to show them what you are made of. But seriously I have 4+ yrs in real estate finance, and I will be finishing my MBA soon, so I am def. keeping a eye on when they next round of applications will be due for the 2012-2014 class.
