I suppose that's true. He did always say he was shy talking about his relationships and PDAs. But then again there was that MTV kiss with LMP but that was for publicity not love. And then there were those post-divorce pics of LMP and Mike in front of a restaurant they knew the camera was there Mike still kissed her, but then again it was lust not love. Yep, I'm beginning to wonder whether he truly loved his wives.
Again he said himself he wasn't the marrying kind or maybe just didn't find the right woman to marry.

Hmmm
I can't imagine telling a man I felt used because I washed his laundry and cooked him dinner. But anything is possible. LOL
Now if I'm cooking, washing, and performing marital like duties in the bedroom then I would feel used.

Do you have audio or transcripts of the Brandi Jackson part I didn't hear that.

Re: Ladies in Michael's Life III
Okay... What did he have against peanut butter, chocolate (a bish can't get a Reese's Cup up in here? Damn!) and broccoli? I might have to twist my entire view of Michael if he didn't like chocolate. Now, if he didn't want it b/c it was too much pleasure, alright, then. Stave off the temptation. But if it was something else, then he's really not who I thought he was or could have been! Is it how these items break down in the body? How they exit? What's the problem?
Is Teddy Riley the sole writer on RTT or did he and Michael co-write it? How often do songwriters write for artists based on the artist's actual life? If Teddy wrote the song on his own, I'm disinclined to believe the song is at all connected with Michael's life experiences. Did Teddy say he wrote the song based on things Michael told him?

However, I still don't believe Michael would ever use a woman's feelings for him to get what he wanted and he not have any romantic feelings for her in return... Especially not at that age when he had not yet built up that defensive wall against women...

Attagirl,
Feeling used is subjective. In life we all do things that we don't mean to do that does not mean that it was done intentionally. If I gave you that impression I apologize. Some felt he used Stephanie. That does not mean those were his intentions we all do things subconsciously. Now I am just speculating, but maybe they got that impression from the fact that Mike did not seem upset that she did not get the role in the movie.
Mike was not a perfect man, you are uncomfortable with the fact that he may have unintentionally/intentionally used Stephanie and I don't like that he may have dated married women. But I am trying to see Mike in his totality not the image that was presented to the world.

Re: Ladies in Michael's Life III
The era of Mike that I'm most interested in is the pre-OTW and Wiz eras. As I've said before I believe it was this early era that Michael went wild with women sexually given his newfound independence in NYC and hanging out at Studio 54. We're discussing Stephanie and Michael being together but I'll bet Michael had Stephanie as well as other women on the side. Michael was young so maybe he didn't take the relationship with Stephanie seriously and Stephanie like with some women had mixed signals and thought they had something serious. Just a thought.

It's just something that popped in my head when I remember Monique asking her if she had gone to "Never, Neverland", its obvious that he didn't have NL back then. And then she winks. Know that she didn't mean it literally but still. It's a thought that crossed my mind. Comments?

I definitely think they "consoled" one another after Jeffery and Diana...

Yeah, that's what I was saying. What he got against the chocolate? And the broccoli? What those he have against those two. Chocolate happens to be my favorite treat, and broccoli happens to be my favorite veggie.
How dare he!

Another thing I've noticed as Michael got older he stopped professing his love to Diana Ross in interviews. In his interview with Ebony in 1982 he professes his undying love for Diana but as he got older he became silent only giving subtle indications that he was in love with her like in the 1997 RnR Hall of Fame he states he's crazy about her and the look of love on his face when Diana sat on his lap at the 1996 WMAs.
I guess it was because Diana was married in the later years, but I also wonder if Diana asked Mike to keep his feelings for her silent to avoid a publicity uproar.

Yes, I alway found that odd as well. I remember Stephanie saying she was his only little chocolate drop. So I think that situation could have been hurtful for her. I never understood why he did that.
Diana is a loaded subject. There is a part of me that really hopes that Mike was over his feeling for her by the time the r&r hall of fame took place. I hope that is why he stopped talking about her in interviews. But, I just don't know. Maybe you never really get over your first love, you just learn to live with it.

I'm not uncomfortable with it and I said that I did initially believe he used her and now I think he may have done it unintentionally but I still believe there were genuine feelings on his end....

I am not sure what his reason's were behind it, but i have a friend who has bad acne, and she noticed if she eats this things , expecially chocolate, it gets a lot worse. So maybe that's why Michael stayed away from it too? He did have problems with his skin. acne being one of them.
