I personally think a lot of people are projecting their own issues about race onto Michael.
BAM there it is...of course they are.
Barry admits to hanging out on a damn skin bleaching forums. Why else would he be so passionate about this whole issue? He doesn't like whatever skin he had so, according to him, Michael was the same way. Maybe he's jealous that Mike was able to get whiter through vitiligo than any bleach he'd ever used.
Do people honestly think that he started bleaching his skin before the vitiligo?
how ridiculous!
what kind of a coincidence and luck is that?
lol
just like people are saying that beyonce is bleaching her skin....really people?
they even say Janet has bleached her skin...yep I actually heard that one...this is a strange world we're living in.
Barry and his Monobenzene. I'm still waiting for him to show me any evidence. I've got like 5 links to forums where people say it doesn't work, so I want to know which forum he's on.
My mum's Colombian.... the most famous Colombian in the world is Shakira and you'd think Colombia would be proud about this? Nope. They call her a sell out because she bleaches her hair, sings in English and doesn't live there permanently anymore.
Considering the huge huge problems Colombia has with race (it's a lot like SE Asian countries), I personally believe Colombians project their own racial insecurities onto Shakira, instead of addressing their own.
I think a lot of people do that with Michael Jackson.... they want to believe that Michael really did abandon his blackness and I think this stems from their own racial insecurities.
It's easier talking about Michael Jackson's problem with his race, than discussing your own.

I think so.
god I hate this.
they think they're keeping it real, but they dont know how stupid they sound....
he bleached his skin.....which caused his vitiligo....which is genetic....and he has lupus which can also cause vitiligo....but thats not what triggered it.....his bleaching did?
because all those people in the world (some of which I know) that are bleaching their faces right now can trigger their vitiligo?
So actually all of us have vitiligo?
so if I start bleaching my skin right now, I can get vitiligo?
lol
I dont think so.
we're gonna take Quincy word for it?
Quincy knows this how?
I mean he did say that MJ told him that he had a skin disease, he just didnt believe him.
He said he used chemical peels...
So now chemical peels look like a Lupus flair and cause vitiligo?
since when?
When a person has uncomfortable
thoughts or feelings, they may
project these onto other people,
assigning the thoughts or feelings
that they need to repress to a
convenient alternative target. Projection may also happen to obliterate attributes of other
people with which we are
uncomfortable.
We assume that they are like us,
and in doing so we allow
ourselves to ignore those
attributes they have with which we are uncomfortable.
Neurotic projection is perceiving others as operating in ways one unconsciously finds objectionable in yourself.
Complementary projection is assuming that others do, think and feel in the same way as you.
Complimentary projection is assuming that others can do things as well as you.
Example
I do not like another person. But I have a value that says I should like everyone. So I project onto them that they do not like me. This allows me to avoid them and also to handle my own feelings of dislike.
Projecting thoughts or
emotions onto others
allows the person to
consider them and how
dysfunctional they are,
but without feeling the
attendant discomfort of
knowing that these
thoughts and emotions
are their own. We can
thus criticize the other
person, distancing
ourselves from our own
dysfunction.
Projection is a common attribute of paranoia, where people project dislike of themselves onto others such that they believe that most other people dislike them.
Projection helps justify unacceptable behavior, for example where a person claims that they are sticking up for themselves amongst a group of aggressive other people.
To work authentically with other
people, avoid projecting your
woes onto them. When you see
others in a negative light, think:
are you projecting? Also
understand that when others
criticizing you, they may well be
criticizing a projection of
themselves.
When others are using projection, you can hold up a mirror to show them what they are doing. As usual, this may well be met with other forms of resistance.

The fact that the people who believe Michael had issues with his race always go back to "inducing/speeding up" of his Vitiligo to back up their arguments tells me it's less about the reality of Michael than about them, otherwise why not accept that his vitiligo was something he wasn't consciously controlling?
Or the people who seem to think he was happy to have Vitiligo/Lupus, that he was rubbing his hands with glee as it kept spreading.

Now that is hilarious lol. Yeah, I was reading that paternity thread and a lot of what was said made me laugh. Like "if Prince has it, it's because he was in close contact with MJ..." Like seriously, vitiligo isn't herpes, you don't get it from "close contact". And if that was the case, why doesn't Blanket or Paris have it? Why doesn't Lisa or Debbie (if you believe they've had some "close contact") have it? I mean seriously. And then the fact that MJ just HAPPENS TO HAVE "evidence of chemical peels" in the same exact spot that most Lupus patients get a rash. Come on now...

Thank you for posting this MsNene...
That's why Dumberelli, Ian Gaylerin, and Katt Williams are convinced Mike was gay and/or a pedo
This is the reason why Barry thinks Mike didn't like his natural brown skin.
This is probably the reason that some people can't seem to separate loving affection from man to child with sexual affection from man to child.
These people have issues probably stemming from their own childhood and/or thoughts toward children.
The fact that the people who believe Michael had issues with his race always go back to "inducing/speeding up" of his Vitiligo to back up their arguments tells me it's less about the reality of Michael than about them, otherwise why not accept that his vitiligo was something he wasn't consciously controlling?
OT, you dont know how hard I laughed when I saw that gif, lol.
I love me some Angela, lol.
anyway
That shit is the TRUTH!
lol
seriously.
they want to believe the worst scenario, that says a lot about a person.
they kept looking for other explanations...becau se they didn't like what they heard.
o and apparently Prince got his vitiligo because he touched his daddys skin and anyone who touches someone with bleaching cream gets vitiligo also.....yep thats what they said.
even though theres no way MJ even used that much to begin with.
and that would mean that vitiligo isn't genetic which it is.
