Why does everyone keep saying that Michael looked great?

Seems that EVERYONE who's speaking out keeps saying that Michael Jackson "looked great", "was in great shape" or "was in great health". Were they looking at the same Michael Jackson that I've seen the last several years??

Lou Ferrigno was on Larry King stating that the last time he saw Michael Jackson (in May), Michael looked great. Are these people serious or just in denial? Michael hasn't looked "great" in a number of years. I wish these people would just quit with the lies.

Love and miss you Michael. I really do.

He didn't look great to me, maybe if some of these damn fools would have stop being in denial and actually tried to help him, he would still be alive today.

Most people who dont know him are just looking at his face and saying that he didn't look well.

But people who were around him everyday have a different vantage point than those of us who have never met him at all.

The thing about lupus is that the steroids used to treat it usually cause MASSIVE weight gain.

MJ was always rather frail for a man, considering his brothers and father's physiques...he probably never took the proper medications for lupus...assuming he really had it.

Man, this has to be the most anticipated autopsy report EVER.

Well I'm one of the people who thought he looked great. He looked to be in good spirits, energetic, and young. It might've been the throwback to the wet curly ponytail hair but he looked like the same MJ of the "Dangerous" era at least. Now I want to know who are these OTHER folks that made it sound like was practically knocking at death's door in these rehearsals. Because they get the "WTF?" face.

To me he didn't look as bad as some made him out to look. Barely able to stand or walk some said. collapsed off stage others said. No way he would be able to do 50 shows but he wasn't as impaired as many made him out to be and you could see that on the video. he was able to keep up with 20 year olds. I hope we get to see more of the tapings they have of the rehearsals to see if he did more intense dancing. But at 50 he did look good.

He was frail but he always been thin. I think his last performance sounded and looked good He didnt look like he would be dead 2 days later.

^^^ At all this was a shock to everyone close to him Jermaine even said they just had family day. That man looked damn good if you ask me.

All I know from what I saw ( a min and some secs ) he was getting it in rehearsal but who really know I'll have to see some more.

When we say he looked great, we mean he looked great FOR MICHAEL.

I thought he looked extremely thin and pale in the June 23rd rehearsal video. He may have been able to dance and sing in rehearsal, in part, because he's done it for 40+ years.

But he might have looked more fatigued during the course of 50 shows. So, who really knows? It'll be interesting to finally have the results of the autopsies. But in my humble opinion, he did not look very well, at all.

I said he looked pretty good because reports earlier before he passed said he was bedridden and couldn't walk and he only walks once a month etc..

so to see his dance steps and smiling and being able to move like he did, I was surprised and actually happy...he wasn't FINE but he could still dance and sing..

die hard fans maybe?? but for him to pop and dance and things before it just makes me KNOW it had to be a fatal dose..that did him in..

The media has dogged him so (the nanny said she never pumped his stomach and would not know how, a bunch of lies) I am just glad he said something positive about MJ..

There are some people that post on boards that call him names and compare him to feces, I got into a HUGE argument w/a chick that said horrible racist things but I got her TOLD and also my blood pressure was sky high.
gotta go, getting sad again..

you're right, I wish someone had stepped up, they say he was very
stubborn..and for the right price a doc will write ANY prescription you want.

I know michael has always been on the thin side but this pic of him months back

and these recent photos

looks like he was going through some things ( look at how sunken his cheeks look, the man was only fifty yrs old! I didn't think he would pass overnight either but people saying he looks great is a stretch. The video announcing his tour didn't even look like him, I was looking hard to pick up signs of an imposter because his hand gestures, manerisms, voice, everything was so off.
