Oh yes. There are people who believe the murders are still happening (to a lesser degree) , but it is silenced because there are so many people who want to paint Wayne Williams as the murderer. The Mayor and police chief at that time were under a lot of social and political pressure to identify someone as the murderer. The fact that the case was revisited is enough to let me know that there are police officials who also believe the same thing.

Also, wasn't Wayne only officially found guilty for the murders of two adult men? I think he admitted to those. I don't believe he was ever on trial or convicted for those murders specifically. While there is no epidemic of missing children in the area, the sprinkling of "endangered runaways," always makes me think. Then you know our children don't receive any spotlight when it comes to crimes so we have no idea. There are however enough Black children on the site below with some unusual/questionable disappearances to make me wonder: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

And as it relates to the cruise ship murder, thank you for noticing that too! I know I can be sort of dramatic, but if my new husband was allegedly killed on our honeymoon, I think I would need a cocktail of sedatives to even think straight. This chick gives an interview only 5 months later and doesn't even struggle through the interview! I guess everyone handles grief differently.

Why kidnap someone and kill them in their house? Spending time in the house.

A kidnapper wouldn't stay at the scene.

The thing that is questioning to me is how about the unidentified DNA male on Jon Benet? Wouldn't that point to the intruder theory?

Or it could be possible that the unknown DNA was placed there intentionally to make it look like an intruder. Or maybe the parents were involved in Jon Benet's murder...

I think there is a theory that there was a sex ring and people of power were involved...

IDK, the case is definitely creepy and sad.

An innocent child was murdered and I don't think justice will ever be done.

Regarding the woman whose husband disappeared on the cruise, not only did she strike me as not caring too much, she also had me thinking she was a trifling slut. Who the hell gets into it with their husband for flirting with other men and dancing with groups of random men while she's on her HONEYMOON?! I mean, damn. Reign in the ho-ish ways at least on the honeymoon.
I'm not surprised his family hates her. Not only did she seem unconcerned, it was probably her involvement/flirtation with those men that brought harm to her new husband.

And the cruise line said she seemed more concerned with getting free pampering services than she did about her man. She kept complaining they weren't seeing to her needs satisfactorily.

Idk about the JonBenet case. We'll never know the truth, imo. The police allowing the house to be trampled on made sure the case wouldn't be solved. They should've sealed that house like a crime scene even before her body was found. Then when the police located her body the evidence and scene wouldve been intact.

I can't see a child sex ring being a factor because pedophiles want a child to look like a child, not a 26 year old woman. Which in my opinion, they dressed that child up to look like a woman. But idk. I suppose it's possible.

I know it always comes back to the parents had no motive but maybe there is a motive we just don't know about.
I can't see any reason for her parents to harm her, but I also can't see a logical explanation for anyone else harming her. The parents are the most likely suspects in my opinion. Idk why it happened, but I can't see an intruder doing all that and killing her and leaving her body in the home. The unknown DNA could be a mix up in the lab or put there by whoever killed her, so I don't see the DNA as ruling them out.

Could some one in the house have mistaken JonBenet for an intruder as she crept to the kitchen and got pineapple in the dark? I think some one tasered her thinking she was a burglar, then realized she wasn't. I think either one of the parent's/older siblings were startled when they heard her in the kitchen (in the dark) hurt her, then tried to cover the crime by staging a horrific crime scene with the letter, sexual abuse and all.

Perhaps after they realized she would have to die in order cover the injuries, they figured they'd rape her... something they wanted to do for a long time, but suppressed the urge to.

This might sound mean, but some of those beauty pageant kids can be very spoiled and hard-headed as a result... I think this was the case with Jon Benet... (may she R.I.P., lil' angel) she probably got up in the middle of the night after being told not to; got something to eat, and one of the older people in the house snapped and subsequently killed her.

I don't know all the details of this case. JMHO.

I just find it odd that there is absolutely NO trace of her. Not so much as a hair fiber, clothes or bones have surfaced. They sent deep sea divers out and had one of those heat seeking helicopters fly over the entire island and NOTHING. They should have found something by now if she was in the water. I don't know that she is dead and I don't rule out sex slavery. Many think that is a joke, but that is an underground market that pulls in millions.

You know whats interesting...if you have ever seen the TVOne special of One on One with Dick Gregory he talks about his theory of the Atlanta Child Murders.

I think (if im not mistaken) his theory was that the children were killed and parts of their body were taken as an experimental pieces or something. And it was covered up because the police and medical officials were involved.
