Oh, I loved that song when it came out! I was a junior in high school and not thinking about any of them little bad, nappy head ass boys (as my aunt would say). I always had my head in my books and my fingers on the controller of a Super Nintendo.

The 1st time I saw/heard this video, I was a kid (6 or 7), at the babysitters sittin' in front of the TV with a bowl of raviolli thinkin' about going to ride bikes with my friends. Time flies doesn't it?

I was in after school at the Girl's Club in elementary school wearin the hell out of that cassette tape. Trying my damnedest to hit them notes like Coko.
I also remember Cedric the Entertainer on Comic View clownin about how no one really knew the words to the song...folks just mumbled through most of it. Esp. the chorus......great times
