The Note II will be shipping from Verizon on the 27th and it is time for my upgrade. Should I get the Note II or the Galaxy III?

Enticing is that the Note II is global ready BUT this will be my first Samsung device. I have had Motorola Andriod phones (coming from a Droid Pro)

After having my HTC EVO 4g Lte I wish I would have gotten the note. It's really not that big at all. I'm getting it next time. I had a BB previously and anyone phone would have been bigger for me. LOL

But what I do know is that I've had my heart and eyes set on that S3 since before it came out! I want that phone dammit!!

I don't know about those particular phones( I've heard nothing but good things though if that counts for something) but I will say that I never had a major problem with Samsung phones. They always been my favourite. I'm thinking about switching back over to them as well.

I have the S3. Absolutely love it IP. I think Samsung phones are my favorite phones period....

I have kinda big hands and size generally isn't an issue for me but when I played with the Note in store it felt huge. Way too big for me.

The S3 is cheaper...but the features on the note....

LOL, in the commercial, the phone looks just fine in Lebron's hands...which should be indication enough that it is a huge phone. I have yet to see one in person.

thanks OP for posting this. i have to make the same decision soon and cant decide between the two. i have a samsung tab2 so im leaning toward the getting the s3 for phone features alone. i may the kids Notes so i they wont want tablets.

i dunno. they are both such nice phones. its hard to decide.

I'm getting the Note tomorrow. I went to buy it on Monday, but thank goodness I had a nice sales rep who told me that this Friday and Saturday, T-mobile will be doing $300 rebates on that phone. I made an appointment to get mine as soon as they open in the morning. I generally don't like full touchscreen phones. Something about my fingers they do not like. I can be sliding my fingers across the screen for days, and nothing moves . But I absolutely loved my old school Palm Pilot (no, not the Pam phone. The actual Pal Pilot) . I stayed so organized with it. Even more so than with my Blackberry. So the Note is like a big Palm Pilot on steroids for me.

Got my Samsung Galaxy Note II today!!!! I have no idea how to use it though and HATE reading instructions .

I went by At&t because Verizon doesn't have the Note II in stores. The phone is very big. Very big. However, I did like the functions. I can see myself taking work notes on it and also, I like that you can run two apps at the same time on a split screen. So, I will be ordering mine from Verizon. It won't ship until the 27th, so we shall see.
