Re: Black women: Blonde hair out, Purple Hair IN??
Whether it looks good or not depends on the women's skin tone an features. I think it looks horrid on all the chicks I removed.
I think a darker color of purple would look better on the first chick. It looks ok on Azealia but that wig is horrible. If she had the lace wig altered to look natural then the style an color would be fab on her. The 3rd chick is on point, I have no positive criticism for her. I need to see the last girls face from a frontal postion to see if the color really fits her.
Oh an no I wouldn't give it a try. I black, some reds and darker blonde colors like P4/30.

I want to do purple but a subtle purple that's barely noticeable or that I can cover. I wanted the lighter one but it won't fly working lol. I got too excited and had to bring myself back down to reality.
I like when black women experiment with any color than bleach blonde, we can experiment with our hair too.
Re: Black women: Blonde hair out, Purple Hair IN??
Wow, I am ashamed to say that I am just noticing how striking the deep purple haircolor is on brown women! Of course it still can go left like any other over the top color, but it is actually very, very pretty and not at all hood when done well.
I may just need to try this.
I am at work, so if you guys could post more pics I would be grateful. I am really interested in defferent looks.

Exactly. I've seen girls with various colored hair (done tastefully) in trendy salons and boutiques and it's cute. But in professional settings this would never fly.

It's just a fun thing to do, not at all serious as some of yall are making it out to be. It's a hair color it not f'ing permanent! LOL..Like they can't re color it? GMAB!
I envy folks in careers (or young) who are able to play around with their looks, try different creative things... Even if it's to just get it out of your system before you have to "grow up."
Purple looks amazing on brown skin, just damn!!!! Does all of it "work" for anyone no, but eh who cares! It's fun!

i wanted to do a dark purple tint similar to a blue black. I dont know how it will go over with the school i teach at. I figured i would do it and if someone said anything i would change it..but not anything bright..i figure if people can have burgundy hair at school whats so bad about purple.
