I was watching ANTM and one of the girls, Alasia, had this hairstyle that they did that I want to do on myself. I'm mixed, amusing enough like another girl on the show, Gabrielle, so I have odd hair.

How do you do this hairstyle?

I suppose its a bunch of curly weave, not a weave wearer so sorry can't be much help.

No weave was shown going into that girls, but they didn't really show how it was done per say. What is a straw or rod roller set????

Its mainly her hair with some clip ins and I think it was curled with a curling iron.

I think you could do it with rods. I use larger rods. But on ANTM, they seemed to be using a curling iron.
That girls video was GREAT, I want to try doing that, and I think I'm gonna try that Nioxin too.

My homegirl twisted up my hair and it looked so dope, I've tired three times since to duplicate what she did and no dice :(

I don't have to do anything to get it the way the girl's hair came out is how my hair comes out after putting gel in. But I need more controlled body.
