I have acrylic on my nails (I get my nails done weekly/bi-weekly), and I want to get a polish change for some upcoming interviews. (I will also have my nails short for those who are wondering)
I do realize that white doesn't really look that nice & reminds me of whiteout

clear polish or natural nail colored polish that's it. If you think people aren't watching this, THEY ARE. I don't care how edgy the place is. Nice, neat and professional (even if corporate casual) wins every time, no matter what.
The only times that an applicant's nails have stuck out to me during the interview is when the nails are really long, really bright, really tacky, or really dirty.
Some of the places are the kind where employees can only wear black dress pants/slacks/dresses or skirts; white button down tops (some of the women wear blazers); men wore suits or dress shirts, slacks & ties
If its a professional environment than any neutral color would be ok and make sure it compliments your skintone because I wore this nude color and all it did was make my nails look dirty so I took it off. It really bothered me.
If its a more trendy environment than anything trendy would be cool.
I usually go bare or wear clear. Never anything else.
