It was developed by an African American doctor, Dr. Susan Taylor. It's specialty is that the line is formulated specifically for darker skin complexions with ingredients hyaluronic acid, fresh soy and pomagranite and not the typical ingredients that typically discolor and irritate darker skin tones. It's fragrance-free, propylene-glycol free, lanolin-free, alcohol-free and dye-free.

Yeah, I'm curious about the line. It might sound crazy, but I don't like the packaging of the product (it doesn't move me). Anyway, if hear enough good reviews I might try it... at least to support a sista! She tapped into a good market because there aren't many skin care lines out there developed by an African American physician that's for people of color (African American, Latina, Asian, etc.). Great move for her to also sell the product through Sephora.
I was just thinking Carol's Daughter might want to think about expanding their skin care line. I heard their Lemon Grass & Granium Toner is pretty good for oily skin.

You're right. I bought a fade cream from Jan Adams (pre-Donda's death) for a scar on my leg and it was a bust!
I've heard that Angelo Thrower (a dermatologist here in Miami) is really good. He has a line of products called Heritage. I went to his website and the "Before and After" photos are amazing! His products are sold at select Wal-Mart stores. I might buy some as back-ups. I find that I have to switch up my products to continue getting results. I'm going to start the Obagi and then go back to the Mario Badescu or Heritage.
I thought about RX but the packaging didn't move me either lol. If I find that Heritage doesn't work, then I'll give RX a try. Or if I can't find the Heritage products b/c it's only at a few WM. I'm at the mall almost daily so I can run in Sephora.
Susan Taylor was my dermatologist growing up, and if this product line is anything like her patient care, I will NOT be buying it. I'll see if any of my girls have given this a try.

Awww...I'm disappointed! Guess I'll stick to Mario Badescu and my new find, Origins.
Guess Susan Taylor needs more people!

After aliyajleslie23 mentioned it in that Meagan Good thread on Sunday afternoon, I went to the website and watched the little product video. When I saw that it was for a range of skin colors (not just the darkest hue), I decided to order the Absolute Radiance Intensive Exfoliating Serum and the Naturally Flawless Advanced Botanical Brightener. I'll let you know how I feel about it. I was interested in the brightner because I have a small blemish on my leg and am not interested in anything with hydroquinone in it (like the Proactiv skin lightening lotion for spots); this product is hydroquinone-free. I wanted to use the Absolute Radiance as a light exfoliant because I am not yet interested in going as far as getting a chemical peel to refresh my skin.
BTW, luckily, when you order things from Sephora.com and you aren't satisfied, you can return it. I assume it is the same way when buying something from the stores. That was a plus for me so I'll be holding on to my order confirmation and receipt and will go from there if I don't like the products.

Re: Rx for Brown Skin - Skin Care Product Line
Wow , thanks. Im glad i didn't waste my money on it. I was on the fence about it when I first saw it online anyway. I guess I will stick with what I use.
