Best Transfer Resistant/Long Wearing Foundation & Lipcolors
dConsidering the holidays will be approaching soon...there will be lot's of hugs and kisses as we visit loved ones and friends. Does anyone ever wear a great foundation that is transfer resistant?
First, I'm a Prescriptives women (and they'll be going out of business sometime in January 2011)...I've heard the Prescriptives All Skins Mineral Foundation. However, I've only wear the Vitural Matte Foundation and the multipurpose make-up stick which I do luv.
There are also a lot of excellent reviews about L'Oreal's Infalliable Never Fail Lipcolour . However, it comes with a lot of disclaimers so-to-speak: For example, you have to use it in a certain order (step-by-step) and to absolutely not apply a lip balm and leave it on your lips prior to using this product. You have to apply on clean dry lips. Then, once you apply the gloss, you have to let the gloss sit after you apply it. Then, apply the lip conditioner that comes with it. It's like a clear gloss type sealer that you can only apply with it. Also, according to some of the reviews I've read, you can't layer it with or apply any other type of moisturizer or gloss (clear gloss or vaseline with it)...something about it will cause the lipstick to flake or something. It's recommended that once you apply the Infalliable gloss and conditioner, that you only use a gloss from the L'Oreal Infalliable line to add extra umph as your third step.
Anyway, I was thinking about trying this in Beyonce Red and Rosebud. Has anyone tried the lipgloss from this line?

Hmmm let me think, have you tried Vincent Longo? $50
Revlon Colorstay is probably your best bet, the only thing is that it dries quickly on your face so you have to apply it quickly.

No, I've never tried this one. However, I've read some reviews about this foundation once or twice with some good reviews.
As far as the Revlon, I do not wear drugstore foundation...mainly because I am horrible at matching my skincomplexion...and I don't have the patience to do a buy and try, return...buy and try again...so, I just opt for the makeup counter and leave it to the professionals.

Oh I see, try Napoleon Perdis foundation, I used their foundation stick and it gives a nice airbrush finish with plenty of staying power. Though to be honest it's really not for dry skin, but check out their other foundations, or maybe head over to Sephora for help.

I have very oily skin, so it may work. Next time I'm at the mall, I may stop by Sephora to try this.

Sorry I didn't mention that, they don't sell it at Sephora anymore, the stopped carrying it last year. Idk where else it sells, but I really like it, it takes some blending but it gives a nice airbrushed look, and great on oily skin. Maybe you can get in online, or look up their store locator?

Re: Best Transfer Resistant/Long Wearing Foundation & Lipcolors
Oh, I'm not sure how I forgot to ask about this foundation. I've read a lot of good reviews for this which seems to be the HG for many ppl. I've been eyeing this one for several months and was considering switching to this once I can no longer purchase Prescriptives since they are going out of business.
Anyway, can anyone tried the Estee Lauder Double Matte?

BUMPING!
Spring is here and summer will be here before we know it...bumping this because transfer resistant make-up is highly desired as a make-up must have during the warmer months.
Anyway, I have not purchased anyy new foundations yet. I'm still working with current Prescriptives foundation haul until I run out, but I'm not using Px's true transfer resitant foundation...so, once my make-up stick is gone, I"ll either go with Px's All Skins Mineral Foundation or something else.

Re: Best Transfer Resistant/Long Wearing Foundation & Lipcolors
Anyone with any recent recs, please share. Extended wear make-up is definitely very necessary during the warmer months and hella hot weather especially wih being out and about for long periods of time through the day and day-to-night.

Re: Best Transfer Resistant/Long Wearing Foundation & Lipcolors
There are so many options out there. I'm almost finished with my Px...right now I'm considering Bobbi Brown's Natural Finish, NARS Sheer Matte and Chanel Matte Lumiere. However, I'm not sure what shade I would need for Chanel. I contacted their Customer Service online, gave them some references. However, they still recommended that I visit a Chanel cosmetics counter; the same happened when I reached out to Lancome. The others I contacted (e.g., BB, NARS, Smashbox) were able to give me personalized recommendations based upon the background info that I gave them...
With Bobbi Brown and NARS Sheer Matte, the reviews are totally mixed...some with oily skin state their HG status, while others with oily skin say they have you looking oily by mid-day with minimum staying power as promised...BUT Bobbi Brown has an oil-free powder foundation that was also recommended as well. I'm just not sure if it is as chalky-like as MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation.

Re: Best Transfer Resistant/Long Wearing Foundation & Lipcolors
I need to know about the foundation. My color transfers everywhere, but its the only color that matches me perfectly! MAC NC 50. Is there some finishing powder that I can wear that will keep the color from going on to my poor boyfriends tshirts (and my nails?)
Use a good primer. Some brands, regardless of the primer or powder, will always slide off. Pro longwear liquid foundation is good at staying on your face but it's heavy and not good for sensitive skin.
