What Do You Mix your pure Shea Butter with?
If anything? I am in love with my shea butter. Usually at night, I apply it raw to my whole body, even to my face. My already soft skin has become even softer and smoother. However, I have noticed that on certain parts of my body, it seems like there are dry patches. I was wondering if I should consider mixing it with anything. Also, I love the shea butter hand creme from L'Occitane

when I whip it, I add some jojoba,vitamin-e oil and a little glycerine.

tea tree oil
theres a lot of stuff you can mix it with. you just have to research oils a bit and see which one you like.

Put oils you like, but very little because you want the main ingredient to be shea butter. If you are looking for moisturizing oils then use:
Coconut oil
Jojoba oil
castor oil
Almond oil
Olive oil
Some people add glycerin and or Aloe vera gel. Do make sure the oils are pure if you want to reap the full benefits. Those generic kind don't do anything. Oh, and do preserve your mix! Use tea tree or honey to preserve the mix to last longer with out getting a mold or fungus.

I use mine straight. I usually smooth some onto my feet after a shower and onto my kids' faces every morning. Just a little, though, since one told me before, "Mommy, I don't think I need to be so shiny." Have a safe weekend, everyone.

See? This is how I found LSA, looking for hair recipes and tips but got sucked in by the fukkery! 
Anyway, I have a big chunk and was thinking about melting it with jojoba and a few drops of rosemary or lavender oil. I want a simple mixture this time. But I've added, in all kinds of combos:
coconut oil
safflower oil
castor oil
grapeseed oil
distilled water
honey
tea tree oil
rosemary oil
aloe vera (plant and gel)
I want to try avocado butter. I heard that was moisturizing too.

With East Africa shea butter which is the softest butter I normally don't add any concoctions to it. It's the West Africa shea butter or butters from Ghana has a better concoctions mixed to it.

I usually add a little coconut oil. It makes a bit more moisturizing and then its perfect for super dry skin.
I never thought of honey before. Maybe I'll try that today. I just spent a few days in Las Vegas and my skin is so dry now.

some aloe
olive oil
coconut oil sometimes other oils my mama gets to try
and cocoa butter, me and my sister melt them both together in microwaveable container
but most of the time i use it straight, we have a shea nut in our garage about the same size as this one
so whenever i come over i just take a whole lot and theres still a ton left

I use extra virgin olive oil. Blended in the melted mixture. Just made two small plastic containers for me and my s/o.
