It's ridiculous to think that a criminal can walk out of a state institution (prison) after 4yrs and not owe a dime, but someone can walk out of a state institution (college) after 4yrs as a graduate...owing almost 100k!

Prisoners should be earning their keep - there are plenty of jobs they can outsource the prisoners to do. Tax payers shouldn't have to take care of them AND the countless bastards they have on the outside too! Meanwhile, those who are pursuing degrees are racking up debt that will take them decades to pay back.
