As long as you're 5'2" you're good to go...one of my girlfriends cheated. She wore long bell bottom type jeans and when they measured her (they do measure you with your shoes off) this fool stood on her tip toes lol....a mess I tell you

<---------5'3. Just made the cut.
I have a lot of Customer service experience, so I'm definitely going to look into it. Me and my gay male friend made a pact that we would apply together. I'm gonna call him and tell him it's on and poppin.

Oh and don't let the show PanAm fool you (even though I love that show)...long gone are the "glamorous" days of flying...you aren't always put in a "five star" hotel, sometimes it's hit or miss. I mean we don't stay at Budget Inns, but it's not the Ritz either. The only accurate thing about the show is.....we do LOVE to drink on layovers lol. And sometimes if you have a good flight crew (Pilots) who aren't cheap, they will treat you to dinner and drinks, drinks and more drinks. But be careful and not get caught up because, I have seen some things while on layovers (between Pilots and FA's) and some of them have walked the walk of shame the next day....shame, shame, shame lol.

Yes do it!!!! And if you want any tips, I will be happy to give some. Keep in mind it is a VERY competitive field to get into. Make sure you brush up on your interviewing skills, research the company, and look the part. I did my homework weeks before my initial interview. I wore a black suit with a white blouse, heels, hair pulled back in a bun and light makeup. They like to envision you as a FA. So before you even open your mouth, they are already critiquing you.

i will call in fatigue, i dont care how many days the trip is. i just hate maine lol.
the hotel in DC is nice as well as Detroit. but i hate both places with a passion. and the pilots are usually nice, the one who wouldnt leave me alone bought every drink i could take in
i still dipped at the end of the night though.

Oh and make sure while you are filling out your application at the interview, that you are interacting with others. Trust me, you are watched the minute you walk in the door (you don't know this of course). The airline industry is all about customer service as well as safety. If you appear stuck up or not wanting to be bothered, it will count against you. I'm not saying you have to be the life of the party, but they don't want Debbie downers either.

LOL...if it's the same one in Maine...girl none of us wanted to leave the lobby because of all our rooms SUCKEDDD...and we were doing a six day military charter (we flew the guys to Kuwait..now that hotel was BEAUTIFULLLLLLLLLLLL ) and then flew the rest of the guys to Maine. I had the best lobster of my life there tho lol.
Yeah the hotel in DC is nice (never stayed at the Westin Detroit cuz I'm based here). My room in DC had a jacuzzi...I had fun that night lol.
I remember I had a five day Nagoya layover...it was sooooooo boring that all we did was drink everyday...it was so bad that I was walking to the bathroom in my room at 4 a.m.....and didn't realize it was a flippin earthquake...I just thought I was drunk lol.
oh, commuting is a bitch.
live in base if you can.
i can rarely get on the direct flight from my phl to nyc because its always full
so i have to go to dc, then to nyc

oh. tips, dont drink the soda or eat the salty snacks while in the air. causes bloating then youll get fat and no rich man will ever want you
no but seriously, drink a ton of water. and i dont know about french but my first month, i was a sick as a dog. sinus issues, nausea, random headaches. it doesnt effect all people the same but a lot of people get sick. i got over it about 1.5 months later.
what else can i add???
i dont know. ill add if i think of something.
ETA: remembered it, airplanes are DISGUSTING. wash your hands often. the passengers are nasty. will use the rest room and not wash their hands. sickens me.
