as corny as it sounds, its a law to comply with all FA instructions.
i would of had him removed as well.
people hate to be embarrassed, so i just say i need your phone to go off (not quietly of course ) then ill stand beside you until you do. makes em uncomfortable. i completely understand, i want to play with my damn ipad all day long too, but come on now. you can turn it back on once were in the air.
i never bring up race, but i have ONLY had this problem with white people. i dont know what it is, but they think they dont have to listen to anyone.

yea Dubai has pretty strict laws, I heard the Shekhs choose the fa so that's why they ask for headshots with your application and if you get above a certain weight they put you on a diet

I work for a regional carrier (smaller planes). There are pros and cons no matter who you work for but I'd like to try to get on with either Southwest or Delta. Those are the only two airlines I want to work for (if they every start hiring again).
I've been in thee bases in three years. I'm based in Dulles now which is closer to home. Nothing better than being based close to home.
