Being Skinny = Healthy (OF COURSE!!!)

So yesterday before I left work my- just removed a brain tumor (the size of an orange), Jewish, white, red-headed, middle class, upstate Ny living, no children ever having co-worker says this to me: " I lost 10 pounds, I am so skinny now, what do you think"?


Really Sarah? Is being skinny more important than being healthy?

She goes to chemotherapy every day fro 11:45-1:00pm and them comes back to work.

Is being skinny really a focus point?

It's okay, I just feel sad for her. One of my employees (white woman) just called me on Monday and said she won't be back for another 12 weeks.

reason: They removed most of her stomach
cause: she had the gatric bypass last year
notes; in her quest to become skinny she had this operation which seperated a major part of her stomach which collected bile for a year and them rotted itself out.

I could be fit or fat or boney or unhealthy but I am not going to be a slave to society.

PS. I am healthy for a black woman but the body fat does not fit according to a white woman. I will not conform.

Exactly! There are plenty of big people who are healthy. Not everyone is fat because they eat junk food all day. This quest for skinny is a freaking joke and doing more harm than good for a lot of people. I see skeletons jogging every morning I do my power walk. Tell me they're more healthy than me with my juicy azz.

Instead of skinny, strive for healthy no matter what size you are!

For the sake of argument, their cardiorespiratory system is healthier. But you'll float better in a life and death situation out on the sea.

Bigger ass doesn't have to mean bigger everything else. I think most women in general would like for their asses to be round and perky. Some of yall go overboard with the shit...got the ass and the gut to match.
