Ovary tender when touched
The area where my left ovary is located is tender when I touch it, also when I have an orgasm I feel a light tingle(not really pain).
I have a Doctors appointment at the end of August but I would like to know if anyone here experienced this and what was the cause?
I had a lump(with little pain) there a couple months ago but I thought it was due to me having multiple orgasms and tighten up my left leg muscles to much during my orgasm(if that makes sense) but now that it is still tender I'm wonder what is going on.
you may have cysts on your ovaries. mine were tender to the touch and come to find out I had fibroids...

I had a small cyst there in Feb. when I had a ultrasound done but I think I felt it pop, well maybe another one came. I really don't want another ultrasound done, they're so uncomfortable
are you periods heavy and larger clots? heavy cramping? these are some of the symptoms of fibroids.
Why are you waiting until August?

Or worse...Ectopic Pregnancy. Please get to an OB as soon as possible. Could be nothing but better safe than sorry. I've had Overian issues my whole life.

My periods are real lite and short. They didn't detect fibroids when I had a ultrasound, just a cervical polyp.
I picked the end of August because I am taking a couple days off during that time. They are booked for the next two weeks and the time I'm looking to go in is not available, they only accept walk-ins at certain times and I'm not available during that time either. At the end of August I will be very flexible with time.
well, I hope everything checks out OK when you visit the Gyn next month. Girly problems are NOT fun!

Do you experience pain when you are ovulating? If so, it may be a cyst. I used to have a lot of pain on my left ovary and it was a cyst the size of a golf ball. If the pain gets worse I would not wait until August to get it checked. It is better to be safe and get it checked ASAP.

My friend said Ectopic when I had the lump there a couple of months ago, so I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. The lump is no longer there, it was about the size of a Almond tho.

I used to have lite pain during ovulating on my left side but I stopped getting that pain every since April, so now I can't tell when I'm ovulating.

My problem was a bit different. My ovaries were not only tender but I had pains and I just knew I had a cyst or tumor....come to find out I have a spastic colon. Nothing to do with my ovaries at all. There are a few things that this could be, I would just get checked with a doctor ASAP

I've just found out the same thing with me, without the orgasms. It may be a fribroid. Only one way to find out throught the gyn.
