So if you dream about someone who's died, what does this mean ?
It gave me a lot of peace. I was so angry at my family because no one had told me how bad my mothers health was. I was mad at myself for choosing to be young and party during college isntead of going home. And I was mad at my mom for not being able to have final words with her. The anger and sadness consumed me and seriously after that night most if not all of it was let go.
I have dreams about my aunt who died in 1997. We were sitting in one of my aunties apartments talking, I told her Carolyn they say we look alike then I showed her the picture of my picture and hers side by side, then we ended out at her grave. Mom will look at me and say damn you look like Carolyn.
I had a dream about my grandmother that passed away recently. In the dream she was sitting next to me in the car and looked beautiful (as always). I told her she "looked so pretty" and she asked me "what are you talking about?" and I told her how sick she had been (cancer) and that I was so happy to see her better. She put her hand on my knee and patted it (like she always did) and told me "oh, Benevolent, I'm much better now and smiled ".
I woke up with a smile on my face. I don't know what dreams about loved one's who have passed on mean, but I know mine made me feel better, like she was talking to me. I know I don't have that empty feeling as much, although I definitely still miss her, but I feel like she's still around watching me. I needed that dream
My mother always told me that family members can visit you in your dreams. As the dream world is connected to the spirit world. I have dreamt about my dad a lot, he is always always dressed in all white, and has a message. My family has had a lot of these stories too. My great grandmother has visited all her grandkids in their dreams. Her spirit is so strong that she calls out to them while they are awake.
My grand mother, who is alive by the way, visited me in spirit a while back. I was sleeping and her spirit came and grabbed my hand and pulled me up. When I woke up I was sitting upright in the bed. I called home and got my mother to get her to call me. She told me that she missed me and wanted me to come see her. It was so weird.
This is one of the reasons I have an issue with religion. Christianity teaches that this is wrong, but it happens all the time. I even dream of things before they happen. I truly believe this is a natural occurrence.
OP, as for your uncle maybe he wants to tell you something that you are not giving him a chance to say? Be comfortable with the fact that his body is dead, and let it flow naturally.
Do y'all experience this? I always have a dream along the same lines about an uncle that passed away in 2005. I've had it three times and it's always I see him and I try to talk with him but I can't help but think he's dead and I want him to know it. Everytime I tell him or about to tell him he disappears or I wake up.
Whoa! Maybe he's in limbo, and doesn't know he's dead, like in the Sixth Sense!

I know in the second dream I actually talked with him for a little bit but I can never remember what we talked about because in my mind I'm thinking he's dead Kim you know this. But when he smiles at me it's so comforting like everything's gonna be okay smile. I always tell my mom about the dreams because they were close and she gets so sad because she's like I never dream about him and I know she wants too.
Anyone have dreams like this? What do you think it could mean?
Well, I had parakeet who passed away 7 years and ten days ago, on Mozart's birthday, while listening to a radio station devoted to Mozart (I always left the radio on to enhance intelligence & keep company since I am rarely home), and that night, I dreamed of him pecking away and doing things birds do. I looked at him like: "what are you doing here? You died." And he looked at me, and disappeared. So, maybe your uncle is still in a spiritual transitional phase...?
I was away at school, and my boyfriend at the time (grade/hs sweetheart) got into a bad car accident he was killed. he was in a coma for a week amd no one told me until it was too late for me to see him. I was able to make it into town for his funeral to find out it was cremation. I was so sad and so exhuasted from crying to the point where I felt like fainting. After the memorial I went home and fell asleep I dreamed that I was calling him on the phone it was so sureal beacause as I was calling I was saying to myself hes not going to be there cause he's gone...
His dad answered and I asked to speak to my bf, his dad says hold on then my bf gets on the phone and im crying asking him what happened why did you go...then he said im alright and I woke up crying.
Never had amything like that happen before or again
Personally, I believe that the spirits of our loved ones visit us through our dreams. I've had several come to me. It's very comforting for me because I feel like they want me to know they made it safely over and are at peace now
I totally agree. I was reading Sammy Davis, Jr.'s daughter's book about him, and lo and behold, one night I dreamed he came crawling right on in my bedroom window to talk to me. This was around 7 years ago, and I still remember it so vividly.
My brother was murdered a year ago and I've been having a lot of dreams about him since it happened. The dreams always seem so real. We're always talking and laughing. It felt like how it used to be with us. Then I wake up, and reality sets in. I always feel depressed after I dream about him because he's not here anymore and plus his death could have been avoided.
I dream about my deceased family members all the time.
My granny always comes and gives me advice when I'm fretting about something. And it always works out the way she says.
