Ok, so I just landed an interview for a job as an appointment scheduler/ front desk position at a chiropractic doctors office. The thing is I have no idea how to dress for it. I'm 19, so I don't want to look frumpy, but I also don't want to look too young. I really want this job,. I just need tips on how I should look appearance wise..
Location: Sitting on the couch eating bon bons and watching my soaps.

No shade to you OP but wtf at y'all not knowing how to dress for inteviews...
Options
-Suit
-Button up and slacks
-dress
Nothing too revealing, i. e., short or low (cleavage). No matter what the job is you should always look professional. First impressions are everything regarding interviews. And please don't be late. As someone who conducts them often I slightly judge people who don't dress appropriately and who are late.

Try not to 'overdress' if possible. A nice shirt, slacks, and dress shoes should do fine. Like bussiness casual sort of. I've worked in dental offices so much, and its seems buss-casual usually works well for interviews...

All black everything.
Nice slacks, white button up, blazer. Flat professional shoes (I had on heels at my bank interview, but that was because the pants were too long to wear with flats). Make sure that everything fits. The pants should not bunch up at the bottom. Your boobs should not be about to break out of you top.

Please do your makeup, and do it lightly... but only if you can do itproperly. if tou dont know what you are doing with makeup then skip it. The office wants you to be their face. Look clean and professional. Not overdone, but fresh.
Don't wear scrubs. That makes no sense.
Wear a button down shirt, pearls, and a skirt or slacks. Black or grey. If you have a professional bag, (not a slouchy tote), use that. Heels, but not club heels. Professional pumps. Not open toe.

black skinny jeans, white button down shirt tucked in, black blazer, watch and simple earrings. nails cut short and no polish. hair either pulled back in a pony or straight and down. makeup simple!!!! no glitter and/or colorful eyeshadow. little foundation, eyeliner, and mascara. no red lip or crazy lipstick color!!
and either black closed toe heels (no higher than 3 inches), black flats (best option) or a low heeled simple black bootie. bag should be simple, some sort of black or brown or beige leather and you're good to go!!
i have had many job interviews over the years and have landed every single one, everyone i know is always so shocked that i always get jobs. i literally have never not gotten a job, i have the whole thing down pat!!
