Yes she is in a big movie, but some of you are not addressing the fact that she will probably not be doign anything else unless she is type casted.
She got the role because she was dark and overweight. She knows from personal experience, so she probably just channeled her real life and used some acting skills to expand it.
Unless Hollywood needs a dark, overweight woman for a bunch of movies over the next several years I doubt she is going to be this famous, big movie star. I do not think she is "eeeewwwww" ugly though. But her weight gets in the way of the features.

She's truly a beautiful person. I've seen her interviews and met her a couple times. She has a positive attitude which makes you want to be a better person. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've seen some of the most beautiful ppl do some ugly shit. Looks aren't everything.
