I read an article today about Plantation Retreats where black people in the bad old US of A travel down south to be SLAVES to white people. I was DEEPLY SHOCKED. Sell-outs in America are clearly beyond help.
At the end of the article these questions are asked:
“Have any of you engaged in race play? For those of you in inter-racial relationships, how do you negotiate these bigger questions of race and the erotic? If our kinks and sexual predilections are in some way a function of life experience, trauma, early childhood experiences, etc. what happened in the life of a black person who is willing to play a slave for the pleasures of white racists?”

I can understand wanting to visit historic places that may have some connection to our ancestral slave past, but to have whites role playing with you at a retreat like that just aint right.
ETA: I didn't even read the whole article, I thought they were just role playing out slavery, not that there was a sexual aspect to it. SMH, that's just sick!
So much pain and suffering went on during slavery and people are seeking those memories for their own twisted excitement. Fucking sick!

Eventually someone will come in and say it's their right to do whatever they want; why do you care?; worry about you; all that jazz. I think I'll bow out before things really heat up, I got a headache and I don't think my brain can fully grasp the situation at the moment. I'm not sure I want to.
