Liza & Basil are an incredible couple. With a Nigerian bride and a Jamaican groom we knew this wedding would be something special. Last last year the couple tied the knot in a week-long set of celebrations in Abuja, Nigeria before a smaller more personal reception here in Toronto last weekend. For those who follow my blog, you may recognize Liza from her appearance on Say Yes To The Dress earlier this year.
Toronto cinematographers, Film Style Weddings, followed the couple to Nigeria and beautifully captured this video which was shown at the Toronto reception… for now my lips are shut about all of the super sweet Toronto details… Enjoy!
Here they are again. dancing to an African love song!
she was annoying on say yes to the dress but naija ppl know how to do it BIG! all the nigerian weddings i've ever been too have been FABULOUS. They literally spare no expense
She was on that show Say Yes to the Dress! Not only is her dad insanely wealthy, but she is, too. I think she's a doctor. She had 3 or 4 dresses, each costing more than most people make in a year, and she mentioned that with Nigerian weddings, you either do it big or don't do it at all.
