See this is why men like me marry
...women who can cook. My parents had 9 children. 5 boys, 4 girls. The girls cooked.....and we did everything else. Growin' up......I simply never learned. I did take a few cooking classes at the college last year. But for the most part I"m a "SHAKE AND BAKE" man.
I wanted to impress Mrs P before she got home. I got the kids bathed, clean the crib, through the lights on the tree...
...then proceeded to TRY to make a chicken pot pie (MODS I thought about putting this in the food section but what I'm going to post just didn't seem like FOOD.)
Anyway.........So I spent an hour int he kitchen, makin' dinner for the family. PUTTIN' IT DOWN!!
......put that bad boy in the oven, at 400 degress for 1 hour...
DAMN!
And Mrs P.......being the love wife that she is.
LAUGHED AT ME................man my feelin' was kind hurt. Even Lil Paige laughed at my HORRIBLE attempt at cookin' Then she called my "Mom" and they laughed at me. Course my sister had to be called........they laughed at me.
My dumb ass uploads it to face book........(cuz I was proud before Mrs P came home)........my real life hommies laughed at me.
uuuugh. Its POSED to be chick pot pie.
but since the chicken wasn't done
and the carrots were hard
and the potatoes were more like cardboard
and..........I don't know what the hell happened to what I THOUGHT was the filling.
I'm going to bed damnit!

LOL...I was going to say at least you tried also, but chicken pot pie is a little tricky so you might want to try again. Wives love when you try anyway, you'll find a signature dish and stick to it.
