I have a question for people who thinks she should "mind hers". If a person witnessed someone drop a pastry or some other food in the garbage, on the floor, or on some other unsanitary surface/place, then proceed to remove that item, place it up for consumption, and you come along not knowing what happened and consume that item---how would it make you feel if the person who witnessed the "tainting" saw you take a bite without saying anything...especiall y if it could put your health/well-being at risk. This is the issue I think the OP is talking about---exercising a little concern for someone other than yourself. It's like witnessing someone be attacked and just kind of stand around and watch without saying or doing anything. It pushes the line a bit, imho.
OP...I think you should say something---just do it carefully.

What type of items do you transport in the trunk of your car? I would probably have my groceries delivered...damn...b ut the delivery truck may be tainted too!
