Why do people say they don't like water because it doesn't have a taste?

Water does have a taste, or you wouldn't know if you liked it or not.

I just don't understand how people say they don't like water.. To me that's like saying you don't like air/oxygen.. Drinking water is that natural in my opinion.

I hate when my younger cousins say this because all they drink is soda. I'm like if water doesn't taste like anything, why is it so hard to make yourself drink more of it?

I'm sorry, but to me water doesn't have a taste unless there is something nasty or very very impure in it. Maybe I don't notice the taste, but all water (unless it has bad junk in it) all pretty much taste the same to me.
However, I do drink water. There are bottles of it stacked in the dinning room. However, there are times when I do want to have a drink with flavor, like a snapple or a Lemonade.

It doesn't have a flavor. If you were blindfold, and you were given something to drink, you'd know if it was water by its, lets say it together now, taste.
