Anyone ever take the plunge and find love on the interwebs or only people wearing taco stained wife beaters? Is it possible to find love here? is it just for losers? If you did, did you tell people thats how you met or did you hide???????

I was wondering if this is still a taboo method of dating. I know I have met a few fun people in the past and it wasn't a huge deal I managed to avoid the dumpster behind the 7-11

i don't think it's taboo at all. i know so many people who've done it (through serious sites like eharmony) and met their future spouses. I'm talking a doctor now engaged to a lawyer, businessman married to an educator for some time, etc etc. shit, these are people with lots going for themselves and it's worked for them. it works if you are serious about it, i feel.

i don't even think it's really taboo anymore, what with people being busier but still spending lots of time on the internet.

yea same, I've met a lot of people that got married from eharmony specifically. one couple as asked to be in their commercial.
