IS IT TRUE THAT BLACK MEN WILL MARRY WHITE WOMEN QUICKER THAN THEY WOULD BLACK WOMEN?

Of the black men and white women you see together, about 9 out of 10 times they are married. Of the black men and black women you see together, about 9 out of 10 times they are not married. In other words, only 1 in 10 black couples may be married and 9 in 10 black men/white women couples ARE MARRIED. What's going on brothas? Why is it so difficult for you to be REAL men and marry black women? Black guys will make babies with black women but they will not marry. Black guys will move in with black women or get a house together with black women and live together for years without marrying. They have children while living together with black women and still won't marry. Some black couples be together for five, ten or twenty years and still black guys wont marry.

When it comes to white women, the asian, hispanic, european, and south american women you see black guys are with these days, YOU CAN BE 100 % CERTAIN that they are married. Why is it that black guys don't respect black women enough to marry them like they're doing non black women? They don't seem to mind helping black females produce out of wedlock children, but they wouldn't hardly do that with non black women. Black guys are all over the place with their interracial families. When it comes to that interracial family black guys try to be REAL MEN then. Look at them with their mixed families, being Mr. Family Man. Look at black men in the stores with their mixed families pushing the shopping carts, holding hands with their mixed kids.

Black women are always in the stores shopping alone or with their black children and no men around. Where are the black men because the children are black? That just shows you that when it comes to black women, black men PRETEND not to understand RESPONSIBLITY, PARENTHOOD, or FAMILY BONDING and TOGETHERNESS, until THEY get with white and other non black women and produce mixed kids---The interracial family seem to bring out the MAN in black guys. That's whey they strive to do their best. Too bad black men can't get inspired to do the same for black women and black children.

A man--black or white--will marry who he feels like he's connected with or who he wants too.

A lot of black women don't respect themselves so how can that black man respect them? I know a lot of married black couples. Just because he's out smiling with this white woman and he put a ring on her finger doesn't mean their relationship is "real" or that they're happy.

It's a two way street. We can't blame it all on the man; us women have some bearings in that too.

It might be a situation of what choices black and white women make and how men respond to them. I think it has to do with goals and stuff as well. I know back in the day even married white women would have abortions cuz the baby would interfere with their career. Then again black women might have their kids regardless of what the man gonna do. Its a tough question.

From where are you getting these stats; or, are basing this on merely your experiences?

from what i read, its seems like its based off of experience. which doesn't make it that invalid. becausethat may hold true to whatever area of the country she is from.

These figures are definitely incorrect from what I see and where I live. And as far as myself. My husband couldn't be more of a family man, father, lover and provider. We are together 24/7 - shop together and all that shit. We have our separate time when we hang with friends or go to the store... And were blackI know of a black man that is 25 that has custody of his mixed child, cause her mama ain't shit. I know of lots of young mixed couples that are just fucking. I know some unmarried white couples that have lived together for years with no intend of marriage. These statics just don't add up. Maybe you should move or hang with different people.

^ Why are you so mad, to tell the truth I see more married mixed couples than black couples. Out here it's filopina and black man more than white woman black man. Doesn't mean it's true just what it looks like.

I'm not too sure about this, because I don't deal with Black men primarily, but I will say, from what I have seen and not that I really care, that a number of (esp. successful) Black men will hold a Black woman to a "different standard" than they will a non-Black woman.

You can't realy debate this because it's a topsy turney situation. On one hand, a black woman may feel like all the black men are taken by white/hispanic/asian, etc. men but then that same black woman has to sit and ask herself "with the pool of good black men that's out here, how many do I actually turn away both knowingly and unknowingly?"

We can throw scenarios all day but I dont think there'll be an answer because all mixed couples aren't happy, you cant control who you fall in love with, just as you (the black woman) feels there's no decent black men, he may feel the same way about women and you can't control who you fall in love w/.

False. Just like you said it is based off of experiences. Also I think you contradicted yourself a bit. First you said that if a black man marry a white woman then he's not a real man. But then you say that interracial relationships bring out the MAN in black males. What is it?

Also you don't always know a person's situation. That black woman might be just fine without a father figure. She might not want to get married. We can't blame just black men for leaving the relationship. Remember that it's not just black men that leave families behind. Should we be mad at them but not the non-black fathers?

Last but not least, marriage isn't everything nowadays. There are plenty of happy unmarried black couples. In the same way, there are plenty unhappy interracial marriages. So this question can't really be answered because of the number of factors involved. Everybody goes through different experiences.

I think we should just focus more on what's going on at home rather than what other people are doing.

I don't get it. We steady crying about some fools that ain't checkin' for our asses.

Either you can pay mind to the ones who actually DO want us, or move on across racial lines and date outside the race. Black women act like since a few funky ass Black men don't want us, we're doomed into eternity and will never be married and/or happy.
