Don't disown them just yet, let us talk you through the issues
my brother is a stereotype :-(
Read the original post, what's so stereotypical about your brother? Sounds like you want to control who and what he does. It would be stereotypical if he didn't have goals

He sounds like a guy that knows what he wants and is going after it.
I really haven't ran until any colorstruck negros until I moved in Charlotte. I couldn't believe men really thought like that. I feel bad that people choose to live in such ignorance.

really? i actually dont...most of my relatives are married to either haitian, jamaican, or trinidadian women. i have one cousin whos married to a white girl and everybody was giving him the SERIOUS side eye when he brought her home lool he was about to get a beat down they couldnt believe it and then my brother who was 8 at the time was like "YOURE WHITE!!!!" X_X
but yeah i dont have any color struck relatives (that i know about at least) and im so glad for that
Yeah. I have some male relatives who only date/marry black women, but the new generation isn't like that. It's frustrating, but there's nothing I can do about it.

The part where black women aren't physically or intellectually homogenous.
1)Black women aren't "intellectual."
2) If black women aren't "homogenous," then why do black men regardless of socioeconomic status and are from different parts of America have the same complaints about them?

The same reason these black men you speak of (and by black men, I mean you) most likely believe that ALL non-white women are universally these precious submissive graceful angels who could do no wrong. It's not only sexism, but jaded, self-loathing, media fed, racist stereotypes reserved for weak and easily manipulated negroes who constantly seek compensation and validation for their sin of being born black.
Some of y'all been looking at too much magazines and watching too much Tyler Perry films.
I have two friends and one cousin that dates white girls, I respect their preference....one of my friends have the "Dennis Rodman syndrome" claiming that black women are not attracted to him, but I think that's bullshit, but that's them brothers as long they don't disrespect the black woman I really don't care. But I do think that some of them date white girls cause of issues they had growing up with black women which is a lame excuse to me.
Damn Dennis Rodman syndrome ? he got it that bad huh ?
Yeah and go figure: he's a top athlete at his school. -_- I just don't get it. Our family calls him out on it (esp my sister, who has a black fiance) on the double standard. Idk why some bm who date out feels it's ok when they do it but bw can't. I really don't understand the double standard.
You have a preference for non black men are you "called out" for it like your cousin ?
There's a difference between preference and avoidance.
ETA: I've dated black men in the past. I never intentionally (keyword here!) tried to avoid them.
I'm sure if you compare the amount of black men you dated compared to non black it's overwhelmingly non black and you're free to your choice
I actually think it's better what your cousin does "avoidance" better than him not messing with his "preference " why should he cheat a black woman out of a great experience ... when it's just not really there for him like that ? aslong as he isn't on youtube and in public bashing black women... and hell he shouldn't be bashing period... then let him live
imagine if you ever dated a black man again and he seen your posts.. about his group not being your "preference" ? nobody wants to be second place
I've seen posters on here who date IR,but they don't claim preference for a group...
Lets compare people to soda for a second.. . you prefer coke... but a pepsi is around... you like soda... so you'll drink it ... but if someone brings in a 12 pack of coke... bye bye pepsi .. I mean what do y'all think preference means ?
I prefer black women and have only dated black women

As far as his (wait for it....) preference, it's his choice. IDC! I was just sharing my experience with OP. imagine if you ever dated a black man again and he seen your posts.. about his group not being your "preference" ? nobody wants to be second place GTFOH. Most of, if not every person has a preference. That's just life.

Claim or just don't post??

how does it not make sense for your cousin to deal with non black women ? instead of wasting a black woman's time ? it's better he does that than fakes the funk no ?
how do I know he isn't ? because you haven't given me any indicators that he has....he justs "avoids" which again is better than him faking the funk.. at least he's real with himself
I know most people have a preference ....and just like you have one for non black guys... I have one for black women and if the ideal mate was the be chosen and the only difference was race
you would choose the non black man and I would choose the black woman
You really didn't get the soda portion ? lol... I'll use people instead you claim to have preference for non black guys.. cool.... but you have dated black men who aren't your preference .. if your choice number one non black guy came along the black guy would get dropped in a New York second

Why did you even respond to me? This is really irrelevant. At the end of the day, we like who like. If that guy just happens to be a black dude for me, then so be it. Period. End of discussion. I'm not about to keep going back & forth with you so this is my last response to you. Buonanotte (good night).
"Preference" is one thing. But complete avoidance and supposed lack of attraction to those that have the same features as your mother and sisters and even YOU? Unacceptable.
