Is he being held for her murder or the mounds of other things he did? I can't remember.

He was arrested for murder and was denied bail from the very beginning. He also had some other legal issues, i.e. violation of court orders regarding contact with his estranged wife and also contact visitation with a child in Maywood and the mom seeking a restraining order. He's filed a motion or two since being incarcerated. Also remember he had an attorney, then he was going to represent himself and if my memory is correct, he was indigent and in need of a public defender. Thankfully he has been incarcerated the entire time and hopefully one day he will go to court and be convicted of Nailah's murder. The woman who was convicted of murdering Avis Banks in the Jackson, Mississippi area sat in jail for four years prior to going to court. Potts, of course, has far exceeded that time frame.
