No updates on my end. I haven't been watching the news today so I don't know what is go on with the case.
There was a man involved from my understanding. That is why they used scissors....

As the woman charged in the abduction and rape of a young girl remains behind bars, police now say a rape was previously reported at the suspect’s home.
On Monday, Philadelphia Police went back to the Cobbs Creek home where they believe Christina Regusters, 19, held a five-year-old girl captive and sexually assaulted her. They also revealed to NBC10 they were at that same house last October.

Police say someone inside the home reported that they had been raped. When officers arrived at the house however, no one answered the door. Police officials say there doesn’t appear to be a record that shows officers ever returned to the home to follow up on that case. Police also have not confirmed whether the October case is connected in any way to their current investigation on the 5-year-old girl’s rape and abduction.
Neighbors tell NBC10 Regusters had lived in the home with her aunt for about five months. Family members describe her as a fun loving, playful child. A cousin also told NBC10 that if Regusters is responsible, she doesn’t believe she acted alone.
Regusters’ attorney told NBC10’s Daralene Jones he met with his client on Sunday. The attorney claims Regusters is extremely emotional and wants to get out of jail, where she is being held on a $4 million bond. She was recently transferred to the Northampton County Prison. Regusters is scheduled for a court hearing in two weeks. Philadelphia Police say they are still working on the case with the FBI.
So, the perv was in the home in Oct when the rape was reported. This baby went through what she went through because the police didn't insist on gaining entry to the home back in Oct.
Re: 5-year-old Philadelphia girl found after being kidnapped from kindergarten classroom
The woman charged with the kidnapping and rape of a 5-year-old girl has been moved to a different correctional facility for her safety, prison sources tell NBC10.
Christina Regusters, 19, was recently transferred to the Northampton County Prison after being assaulted, according to prison sources. Regusters’ attorney, Fred Harrison, says his client was moved because this is a high-profile case.
Regusters is accused of holding the 5-year-old captive inside a Cobbs Creek home in January. Investigators say there the girl was sexually assaulted before being left in the cold at an Upper Darby playground.
Regusters faces 15 charges including kidnapping, rape and involuntary deviant sexual intercourse. She is being held on $4 million bail.
Of the charges Regusters faces, Harrison told NBC10's Daralene Jones one charge -- kidnapping for ransom -- seems "far fetched."
"I don't have any information that is the case," he says. "The information I have suggests that, uh, that there are other individuals probably involved in the case."
A spokesperson for Philadelphia District Attorney's Office says it's just a matter of semantics and that kidnapping for ransom is the full legal term for kidnapping in the Commonwealth.
Harrison says he's hired a private investigator to help build a defense for Regusters. He insists to NBC10's Daralene Jones the teen is taking the fall for someone else.

Her attorney said and I quote:

Da*n shame, out of all the charges, her own attorney feels this is the only one that isn't right???
Another story detailing the courage of young NR:
Quote:
Christina Regusters, 19, is the only person charged so far with the rape and kidnapping of a five year-old girl. Tom Kline, the child’s family attorney, told NBC10 however that there had to be a man involved as well.
“There is good reason to believe that there was more than one individual and that there was a male involved,” said Kline. “The information that was provided by the abducted little girl clearly should be and hopefully is leading the Philadelphia Police and the FBI to that second individual.” According to Kline, the child provided statements to police saying she heard two different set of footsteps walking around the home where she was allegedly held captive. One of them was heavy and consistent with a man, according to Kline. Police also say the child was blindfolded and kept underneath a bed while she was held captive.
Along with Regusters, Philadelphia Police questioned three other people who lived in the Cobbs Creek home where the girl as allegedly abducted, including a teenage boy and an older man. Regusters was the only person arrested and charged however.
“The information that was provided by this brave, courageous, precious little girl was instrumental in leading to the arrest of the perpetrator of this horrible crime,” said Kline. “I have no doubt that she is both the victim and when the story is written, at the end of the day, the heroin of this story.” Regusters’ attorney Fred Harrison, told NBC10 he believes his client was “overcharged” and also taking the fall for someone else.
So from reading this, its suggesting that Christina was the only person she saw. What do you think?

The FB assault article posting and the comments sound much like what I was thinking:
Re: 5-year-old Philadelphia girl found after being kidnapped from kindergarten classroom
Discussion on whether or not to have NR testify against the perps/pervs was published. They made some interesting points and insist that they will do whats in her best interest. I hope so. Im praying they get confessions and enough evidence to keep her off the stand. She doesn't need to relive the terror.
Re: 5-year-old Philadelphia girl found after being kidnapped from kindergarten classroom
I agree. Any lawyer she finds is only going to try and keep her off death row but with Pennsylvania's track record for executions, she will die in jail anyway. Her road ahead is going to be nasty, shes either going to go crazier in isolation or get beat to almost death on a regular in population. If she continues to protect others, I cant feel any pity for her.
Re: 5-year-old Philadelphia girl found after being kidnapped from kindergarten classroom
I find it odd that everybody is focusing on "...if she did it, she wasn't alone" including her own family members. Really? It has to be something going on in that house. Her "relative" says to "find the men who did it" Do you really not know who frequents this home? If she's not responsible, has some mental issues (her and her sister do look like they could be incest babies sorry to say it) etc...then why isn't her family turning in a list of every man who they know to go in and out or who they know Regusters to be around. I call bull, this family is hiding a dark secret and she's not going to spill it easily. Somebody needs to say f the familys public appearance and put it on blast. Somebody living in that home or a relative is a freak and they know it. Nobody even really seems surprised that she is in jail, there is no outrage, its just the same story, if she did it, she didnt act alone. Here's vid of the only family member willing to speak as long as her face wasnt shown. Ive seen enough crime tv and Steve Wilkos to know that when somebody starts out yelling we aren't bad people, they usually are.
