Five men were arrested in connection with the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Baker. Police are still looking for a juvenile who is also suspected in the crime. Baker Police Chief Mike Knaps said his officers took Kenny Allen, Kendall Upton, twins Darryl and Darren White, and Tyzcheron Scott into custody.
"These guys now knew what they were doing and they're bad guys and they are going to jail," Knaps said. "They didn't just make a mistake or a bad decision. They made an enormous bad decision."
According to Knaps, the men and the juvenile are all members of a gang called the "Zoo Boyz." He noted gangs in Baker are beginning to form, especially in the schools.
"We're coming after you. We know who you are. We got your leaders right here and we are coming after the rest of you," Knaps added.
