You have your opinions other members have theirs, no one has villified you for having your own thoughts. You and a few other members came to the assumption that this girl is a trouble child that was probably beating up and jealous of the other kids. Well it looks like Billy Bob and Becky Sue just didn't want the kid anymore after they had their own flesh and blood. So they just came up with some bullshit excuse like "she wouldn't eat our food" and tell her to kick rocks. You can defend the couple, myself and others will villify them.

Guilty of not adapting to Dutch culture
The little girl that supposedly couldn't/wouldn't eat Dutch food, so they told her to kick rocks. I find it very hard to believe that a little girl that spoke Cantonese and English would not be able to adapt to Dutch culture, besides she can speak a little Dutch also.
The Dutch couple.
This is probably the real reason why she couldn't adapt to Dutch culture.

I thought about this story over the weekend. There is a vital element missing from this story and I don't know what it is. I wouldn't do that to a kid that lived in my neighborhood and I certainly wouldn't do it to a kid I had for seven years. Something is just not making any sense.
I've been to the Netherlands, I couldn't eat the food either (or look at it for that matter). I have a kid that does not eat meat. Is it a pain in the ass sometimes, yes. Does that have anything to do with my love for her - hell no.
