I was talking with my mum about this the other day and what we agreed on is the whole underhandness of it all.
At least with the likes of bands like Black Sabbath and artists like Marilyn Manson they were open with their allegence so you can make your own decision.
These artists are sneaky. They project a wholesome image out the side of their necks while at the same time taking it to that darker level. And also trick the children and their parents.
If your child wants to follow Goth or Emo artists, then at least you know what your kid is into. However with these other sneaky artists, parents who want to follow a wholesome path are splitting their money between the church offering and the devil's altar without even knowing it.
As I said before I'm not particularly religious, but I'll be damned if I'm backing an artist who is trying to pull the wool over my eyes.

I am still not sold on the sacrifice thing. But, let me say, there was some talk awhile back about the Jackson family being "in" on MJ's death. At first I thought it was crazy. But then Jermaine and Latoya started to capitalize. But it's Jermaine and Latoya, so I didn't think too much of it. But now I'm sitting here watching Janet's MTV special about her tribute performance to Michael????????????? ?? I also saw her on the cover of a magazine and it sounds like she has a new CD on the horizon. Slowly but surely it really seems like Janet is coming out to capitalize off MJ's death as well. It's got me thinking!

Do you mind going in a bit more detail about Michael and T.I.? I'm unemployed, currently working an unpaid internship in hopes of getting hired so I'm on a really tight budget and can't afford the DVD. I've been trying to figure out Michael and T.I. for the longest. MJ confuses me, because he threw up the devil horns sign in his performances, but then he does so much charity work and makes speeches about loving one another and coming together to heal the world.
And for TI, I haven't found anything on him, so I would love to read what Craige said about them.
