i saw a picture of their wedding a few years ago, she didn't look like that back then. Her hair was longer and she was slimmer. i guess it's the stress of marriage; perhaps, she's had children and gained some weight.
if I'm not mistaken, they met while attending an HBCU.
but you know what? she's not what white men in America and in our generation typically go for in a Black woman. White men, in Europe (at least, in previous generations) especially, would go for the more ethnic, mostly black in phenotype, looking woman. And she's not ugly. The media has so many conditioned to seeing Black women with blended and mostly racially ambiguous features; and that's what it seems like most consider beautiful, now. But I'm glad that there is an instance where somebody appreciates black beauty.
