Ya'll heffa's slay me with this "self hate" bs. A nose job doesn't equate self hate in the black community no more than it does in the white community. Some black people do it simply because they dislike their freak'n nose. Are there cases of self hate, when some blacks, jews and others change parts of their bodies? Of course but not in every case.
I donít believe that she got one, either. It is just the lighting/makeup/angles of the photos being different. And good because she doesnít need one; sheís beautiful just the way she is.
I also agree that she wasnít right for VS. but most of their newer models arenít. Chanel has the bubbly personality but to me the intimidation factor is missing. That thing that isnít so cozy but makes people stop and wonder how to approach you. VS in general got more commercial for some reason. I think Damaris would have been a great old school choice, keeping with the tradition of Adriana, Oluchi, etc. I think those (early 2000ís) were the best VS days personally.
How is a chick gorgeous when she is 5'10 and weighs 110pds? Uh no. That bish looks like she belongs in hospice somewhere. I am her height and I weigh almost 35 pounds more than her, and my doctor is still on me about gaining weight. I hate some of the bodies that the industry promotes.
She is a beautiful girl. Some people are just naturally thin. I have had children and eat alot but I still dont gain weight. Its just as hard to gain weight for some as it is for some to lose weight, but "the industry" doesnt promote that either so people like you always have comments about skinny women. If she did get a nose job as indicated in this thread then Im sure its because it was pressure from people like you telling her she should look a certain way. I agree with you that the industry could have more range with sizes and looks they promote, but dont just want to see people who you think are your ideal size but every size. I teach classes to educate the youth about being comfortable with their bodies (all sizes), if your not doing anything about changing the industry standards besides hating them, then shut the hell up.
